I.Objectives:
At the end of the lesson the student are expected to;

III. Learning Activities:
1. Motivation:
The teacher will show different pictures of medicinal plants.

1. Presentation:
The teacher will present and discuss the following topics;

ü Quackery

ü Possible effects of Medical Quacks

ü How to identify Medical Quacks

ü Difference among quacks, hilots and albularyos

1. Application
The teacher will conduct a role-play activity for the students.

The teacher will divide the class into three groups.

After the teacher divided the class, he/she will assign the group 1 to act or present a role-play
about the quacks doctor while group 2 will act as a hilots, and group 3 will act as a albularyos.
Before the presentation starts, the teacher will present rubrics to assets the students, performance
in role playing.

1. Generalization;
The teacher will evaluate the performance of the students and them sum-up the lesson.

1. Evaluation;
The teacher will evaluate if the students understand the lesson using Eight Square Technique.

The teacher will ask these questions;

What have you learned from the lesson “Quackery and Traditional Medicine”?

The teacher will give the instruction on how to use Eight Square Technique

– Write your answer on the first box and include your signature after your answer.

– Find seven persons inside the classroom to answer the question and they should also write their
signature after their answer.

IV.Assignment
Answer this question in a 1 whole sheet of paper.
