INTRODUCTION
Background of the study
Right to suffrage is a political right given to every Filipinos by the constitution. This
constitutional right defined as a process of getting and holding public office in a specified
number of years. A gambler man, defined politic as a game that sometimes get win and
sometimes lost. Entering into politics is not easy way perhaps it needs an expertise, ability,
effort, money, personal attachment to voters, personality and family background as part of your
political strategy.
The notion of political strategy emerged as a method for organizations to achieve their
goals and objectives (Mintzberg, 2008). Classic political strategic has been increasingly used
acknowledged as a tool to assist in comprehension decision making (M.L.R SMITH, April 28,
2011). Getting public attention is a big challenge on the part of the politicians it employ a lot of
political strategies including marketing strategy management and other political propaganda to
get in the voters majorities choice. This strategy doesn’t end after election. Whoever wins in
the election will also use marketing strategy in government. They will use market research to
identify and understand their target markets, public relations to maintain a positive image, crisis
in power and delivery marketing to show progress on fulfilling their promises. By knowing the
political strategy in winning election the researcher see to it that the full potential strength,
steps and processes of the study will be apply to get first-hand information from the
participants to formulate useful political strategies that work best during political campaign.
