CHAPTER I

PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

"Scientist investigate that which already is;

Engineers create that which has never been.

-Albert Einstein

INTRODUCTION

Organized group of professional people with particular aims, duties,

and privileges. A college (Latin: collegium) is an educational institution or

a constituent part of one. A college may be a degree-awarding tertiary

educational institution, a part of a collegiate or federal university, an

institution offering vocational education or a secondary school. A four-

year college or university offers a bachelor's degree. Programs that offer

these degrees are called "undergraduate" schools. A "university" is a group

of schools for studies after secondary school. At least one of these schools

is a college where students receive a bachelor's degree. Is college and

university are the same thing? A four-year college or university offers a

bachelor's degree. Programs that offer these degrees are called

"undergraduate" schools. A "university" is a group of schools for studies

2
after secondary school. At least one of these schools is a college where

students receive a bachelor's degree. Higher education (also called post-

secondary education, third-level or tertiary education) is an optional final

stage of formal learning that occurs after completion of secondary

education. Often delivered at universities, academies, colleges,

seminaries, conservatories, and institutes of technology, higher education

is also available through certain college-level institutions, including

vocational schools, trade schools, and other career colleges that award

academic degrees or professional certifications. Tertiary education at

non-degree level is sometimes referred to as further education or

continuing education as distinct from higher education. The right of

access to higher education is mentioned in a number of international

human rights instruments.

There are many college courses available to every individual but

the topmost is the engineering. What is engineering? Engineering is the

creative application of science, mathematical methods, and empirical

evidence to the innovation, design, construction, operation and

maintenance of structures, machines, materials, devices, systems,

processes, and organizations for the benefit of humankind. The discipline

3
of engineering encompasses a broad range of more specialized fields of

engineering, each with a more specific emphasis on particular areas of

applied mathematics, applied science, and types of application. The

term engineering is derived from the Latin ingenium, meaning "cleverness"

and ingeniare, meaning "to contrive, devise".

Another is derived from the word engineer, which itself dates back

to 1390 when an engineer (literally, one who operates an engine) referred

to "a constructor of military engines." Engineers figure out how things work

and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. Scientists and inventors

often get the credit for innovations that advance the human condition,

but it is engineers who are instrumental in making those innovations

available to the world. Today's engineers not only build huge structures,

such as the International Space Station, but they are also building maps to

the human genome and better, smaller computer chips. Engineering is

one of the cornerstones of STEM education, an interdisciplinary curriculum

designed to motivate students to learn about science, technology,

engineering and mathematics. Engineers design, evaluate, develop, test,

modify, install, inspect and maintain a wide variety of products and

systems. They also recommend and specify materials and processes,

4
supervise manufacturing and construction, conduct failure analysis,

provide consulting services and teach engineering courses in colleges

and universities. The field of engineering is divided into a large number of

specialty areas: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil

Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Structural

Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Genetic

Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and

Computer Engineering. Particularly, engineers require in-depth knowledge

of mathematics, physics and computer applications such as simulations

and computer-aided design. This is why most college programs include

basic engineering courses in a wide range of topics before students

choose to specialize in a particular area.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) program

is a combination of electrical engineering and computer science. Its

curriculum provides students with a foundation in basic science,

mathematics, software and engineering. The program equips students

with the ability to analyze, plan, design, install, operate and maintain

digital devices and computer hardware and software systems. These

include operating systems (such as Windows and Linux), middleware (such

5
as android systems, game engines), business applications (such as

Microsoft Office, accounting software) and network control systems (such

as CISCO) and computer games. You will also be taught on how to

design a microprocessor and develop an embedded system that are

used in desktops or handheld devices. In addition, written and oral

communication skills are emphasized throughout the program. A Bachelor

of Science in Computer Engineering program focuses on the relationship

between computer hardware and software systems. Graduates are

prepared to evaluate systems and design efficient IT solutions. Computer

engineering is the branch of engineering that integrates electronic

engineering with computer sciences. Computer engineers design and

develop computer systems and other technological devices. Computer

Engineering is a profession. Computer engineers evaluate users' needs

and utilize principles from computer science and mathematics to create

software that meets the requirements. They develop algorithms and

convert them into programming language. A graduate of BS in Computer

Engineering automatically becomes a Computer Engineer as the course

profession does not require any board examination.

6
The goal of this research is to determine the lived experience of

Computer Engineering Students at Tanauan City College. Furthermore,

the researchers’ objective in conducting this research entitled “Lived

Experience of Computer Engineering at Tanauan City College” is to

identify what computer engineering can do with their skills and

knowledge about their course. Moreover, this will help the researchers to

have an additional information and background about computer

engineering and what are their lived experiences as a Computer

Engineering student.

Theoretical Framework

The purpose of theoretical framework is to limit the scope of the

study and guide in the data collection. The study used Henry Petroski’s

theory approach in the study of engineer. This study is related to the

theory of Henry Petroski which is “Theory of Interrelationship of Success

and Failure in Mechanical and Structural Engineering”. According to

Petroski H. (1985) on his first book “To Engineer is Human-The Role of Failure

in Successful Design” as cited on his study “Interrelationship of Success

and Failure in Mechanical and Structural Engineering Design (2011) , he

notes that engineering is a human endeavor and as such is subject to the

7
same fallibilities. His theory sets out why structural problems occur, when

designing a structure that has not existed before. He notes that

engineering is a hypothesis. Engineers strive to design so that there is no

failure. To do this, engineers follow sound conventions and standards.

When designs of structures move past what has worked well in the past,

there will be a small residual probability of failure that only time can

uncover. Failures need not be catastrophic because designs can ensure

that early signs of failure are caught. The theory notes that there is an ebb

and flow in design innovativeness. After a failure, standards and

conventions are re-examined to incorporate the lessons so that the event

will not happen again and that designs become more conservative. Over

time, as more structures are designed using a new feature or technique, a

greater confidence arises again. The theory recommends that instead of

having a list of what could fail, engineers should focus on what needs to

be done to prevent structural failures i.e. communications and

organization, inspection, good quality design, structural drawings,

selection of good designers, timely dissemination of technical data. Henry

Petroski notes that experience is the greatest tool: "The well prepared

engineer can and does build beyond experience without hubris as surely

as a well-trained pole vaulter goes after a new record".

8
As said in the theory above, instead of having a list of what could

fail, engineers should focus on what needs to be done to prevent

structural failures, it can relate that the experiences of the computer

engineering students could be hard for them but they should focus on

their mission to strive for their goals. Also, future Computer Engineers will be

able to learn from their mistakes. The well prepared engineer will be able

to success in life, like the computer engineers they will face first some

challenges before they achieve their goals.

The study also used Michael Sipser’s theory approach in the study of

computation. This study is related to the theory of Michael Sipser which is

“The Theory of Computation”. According to Sipser (1930) cited by Elsevier

Support Center is about, the scientific discipline concerned with the study

of general properties of computation be it natural, man-made, or

imaginary. In theoretical computer science and mathematics, the theory

of computation is the branch that deals with how efficiently problems can

be solved on a model of computation, using an algorithm. The Theory of

Computation can be divided into three areas: Complexity Theory,

Computability Theory, and Automata Theory. First, Automata Theory is the

study of abstract computational devices. Abstract devices are (simplified)

models of real computations. Computations happen everywhere on your

9
laptop, on your cell phone, in nature. Second, Computability theory deals

primarily with the question of the extent to which a problem is solvable on

a computer. The statement that the halting problem cannot be solved by

a Turing machine is one of the most important results in computability

theory, as it is an example of a concrete problem that is both easy to

formulate and impossible to solve using a Turing machine. Much of

computability theory builds on the halting problem result. Lastly,

Complexity theory considers not only whether a problem can be solved at

all on a computer, but also how efficiently the problem can be solved.

Two major aspects are considered: (a) Time complexity: and how many

steps does it take to perform a computation. (b.) Space complexity: and

how much memory is required to perform that computation.

Sipser's Theory of Computation has a connection in the study of

Computer Engineering students. The Theory of Computation deals with

how efficiently problems can be solved, and the relationship of this to our

topic which is lived experience computer engineering are computation in

one thing using computers are capable. In the areas of the theory of

computation, automata relates to computer engineering in the way of

using computers, it can solve problems in anyway and it can solve

problem in the way that the researchers or the person who needs answer
10
to their questions or in one thing can be solve in abstract way. In

computability theory it relates to Computer Engineering program in the

way that halting problems or lack of effectiveness in problems can be

solved using computers. In complexity theory there's a step does take to

perform a computation and there's a memory that required. The theory of

computation of Michael Sipser (1930) had a deep relation in the study of

Computer Engineering.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES

This chapter does not aim to argue but to quench the researcher’s

curiosity with regards to the Lived Experiences of Computer Engineering

Students at Tanauan City College is concerned. Furthermore, the studies

from the different event, researcher’s different view and studies regarding

digital and printed text. Likewise, researchers believe that the related

literature and studies presented would provide insights and will serves as

their guide to complete the research.

Computer

According to Pressman and Maxim (2015), computer is an

electronic devices operating under the control of instructions stored in its

own memory that can accept data, process the data according to its

specified rules, produce results and store the results for future use.

Computers process data (input) into information (output). A

computer often holds data, information, and instructions in storage for

future use. Instructions are the steps that tell the computer how to perform

a particular task. Some people refer to the series of input, process, output,
16
and storage activities as the information processing cycle. Most

computers today can communicate with other computers. As a result

communication also has become an essential element of the information

processing cycle.

In the book of, Innovative Training Works Inc. (2016), computer

program is a series of instructions written to perform a specified task on a

computer. A computer needs a program to work. The program has an

executable form that the computer can use directly to perform

instructions. A programmer is a person who writes, develops, and debugs

the computer program.

Also, according to the study of Pressman and Maxim (2015), about

the Advantages and Disadvantages of Using Computers, society has

repeated many benefits from using computers. Both business and home

users can make well informed decisions because they take instant access

to information from anywhere in the world. A user is anyone who

communicates with computer or utilizes the information it generates.

Students, another type of user, have more tools to consist them in the

learning process.
17
There are some advantages of using computer. First, speed when

data instructions and information flow along electronic circuits in a

computer, they travel at incredibly fast speeds. Second, reliability is the

electronic components in modern computers are dependable and

reliable because they rarely break to fail. Third, consistency is given the

same input and processes, a computer will produce the same results-

consistency. Fourth, storage that computer can transfer data quickly from

storage to memory, process it and then store it, again for the future use.

Fifth, communications that most of the computers today can

communicate with other computers often wirelessly. Computer with this

capability can share any of the four information processing cycle

operations-input process, output and storage with other computer or user.

Also according to the study above, the categories of

computers is the industry experts typically classify computers in seven

categories, namely: personal computers, mobile computers, and mobile

devices, game console, servers, mainframes, supercomputers and

embedded computers. A computer size, speed, processing power, and

price determine by the category it best fits. Due to rapidly changing

technology, however, the distinction among categories is not always

18
clear-cut, many people refer to these categories, when discussing

computers.

According to, Fasano (2012).the Importance of Computer

Engineering career, One might think that computers and engineering are

distinct technological pursuits, as people often equate engineering with

large macroscopic projects while computers are seen as producing

effects that are contained on microscopic chips. However, since the 90s

we have increasingly seen a merger of the two fields, which is not only

resulting in a rise in software engineering jobs but in the widespread

adoption of computer-aided technologies into traditional engineering

fields. As a result, engineers are seeing a significant expansion of options in

how they can pursue work. One of the major uses of computer

technology in engineering is with CAD (computer-aided design) software.

Computer aided design software is the application of computer

technology for the purposes of design. This industrial art is now widely used

in many traditional industries, such as automobile manufacturing,

shipbuilding, aerospace, prosthetics, architectural projects and even

special effects in movies. It is essentially the evolution of a merger

between a graphical user interface and Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline

19
The use of computer technology in engineering fields dates back to the

80s, but recent years have seen the two become almost completely

dependent on one another. Many engineers rely on computer software in

order to ensure accuracy in their projects. Similarly, many new software

development projects keep engineering applications in mind during their

development. Young engineers looking to put themselves on the fast

track to success would benefit greatly from learning computer

technology and science applications relevant to their fields (NURBS)

geometry, and currently functions for all major platforms.

Based on Psychology Today, Time management is the ability to plan

and control how someone spends the hours in a day to effectively

accomplish their goals. This involves juggling time between the domains of

life—work, home, social life, and hobbies. It is important to establish clear

goals and priorities in order to set aside non-essential tasks that can eat up

time, and to monitor where the time actually goes.

In the 1970s, the ABC prioritization method was the rage. Any

project or action item landing on the A list was deemed most important,

with second most important items appearing on the B list, and C items

marked as least important. Over time, various iterations of this formula

20
floated through the zeitgeist. For example, the most unpleasant tasks

wound up on the A list in order to get them out of the way. Today, the

work landscape has changed somewhat, with more and more tasks

landing on the "Most Important" list.

Engineering

According to Lucas (2014), engineering is the application of

science and math to solve problems. Engineers figure out how things work

and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. Scientists and inventors

often get the credit for innovations that advance the human condition,

but it is engineers who are instrumental in making those innovations

available to the world.

In Jim Lucas book, "Disturbing the Universe" (Sloan Foundation,

1981), physicist Freeman Dyson wrote, "A good scientist is a person with

original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that

works with as few original ideas as possible. There are no prima donnas in

engineering." Engineering is one of the cornerstones of STEM education,

an interdisciplinary curriculum designed to motivate students to learn

about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

21
As stated at Feature News (2017), There will a point in their

engineering career that feels like they been stuck in a rut. They have been

doing the same tasks everyday and going to their workplace in their usual

self. But each day, they notice that they are slowing down and less

motivated. Before they slip further to that downward spiral, there is still one

thing they can do about it: change attitude so that they will get the

career boost they deserve. They can only get ahead if they are willing to

step out of their regular attitudes.

In engineering, they are expected to yield results with the least

wasted time and effort. This is what is exactly meant by efficiency. They

need to strive for faster yet productive results.

Beside the efficiency is excellence. It will give them some pressure,

but that’s okay. That’s part of it. Never settle for less – that’s what

excellence means in engineering work. Do not be contented with good

and always go for great. They are leaving a lifelong service and settling

for mediocrity should never be an engineer’s attitude. Always, always try

to exceed expectations. Read more Falling Into Place: 7 Traits to Transform

them from Regular Engineer to Master Engineer, the early bird catches the

worm. This proverb says it all. If they do something early at work, which of
22
course requires them to report in early, they will do more and hence be

more successful with what they do. This is the practice of productive

people who maximizes time at work.

According to Silvestro (2014), Engineers design, evaluate, develop,

test, modify, install, inspect and maintain a wide variety of products and

systems. They also recommend and specify materials and processes,

supervise manufacturing and construction, conduct failure analysis,

provide consulting services and teach engineering courses in colleges

and universities. Computer engineering is the practice of designing

computer hardware components, computer systems, network, and

computer software.

Also based on the study of Harris, et. al. (2012), engineering is an

important and learned profession. As member of this profession, engineers

are expected to exhibit the highest standards of honesty and integrity.

Engineer has a direct and vital impact on the quality of life for all people.

Accordingly, the services provided by engineering require honesty,

impartiality, fairness, and equity, and must be dedicated to the protection

of the public health, safety and welfare. Engineers must perform under a
23
standard of professional behaviour that requires adherence to the highest

principles of ethnical product.

In addition, the good engineer has two features of aspirational

ethics and special importance. First, as Mike Martin noted, the more

positive aspect of engineering ethics has motivational element that is not

present in the same way of preventive ethics. An engineer has a

considerable degree of freedom on how they promote public welfare.

Computer Engineering

As stated by Sommerville (2011), the Computer Engineering has

comparison to Software Engineering. Software Engineering is an

engineering discipline that is concerned with all aspects of software

production from the early stages of system specification through

maintaining the system after it has gone into use.

Software Engineers adopt a systematic and organized approach to

their work, as this is often the most effective way to produce high-quality

software. However, engineering is all about selecting the most

appropriate method for a set of circumstances so a more creative, less

formal approach to development may be effective in some

24
circumstances. Less formal development is particularly appropriate for the

development of web-based systems, which requires a blend of software

and graphical design skills.

Software engineering is a systematic approach to the production of

software that takes into account practical cost, schedule and

dependability issues, as well as the needs of software customers and

producers. There are no universal software engineering methods and

techniques that are suitable for all systems and all companies. Rather, a

diverse set of sensitive of software engineering methods and tools has

evolved over the past 50 years.

Like other engineering disciplines, software engineering is carried

out within a social and legal framework that limits the freedom of people

working in that area. As software engineer, you must accept that your job

involves wider responsibilities than simply the application of technical skills.

You must also behave in ethical and morally responsible way if you are to

be respected as professional engineer.

According to Onipe, (2015), the motivation for anyone to study

computer engineering is simply their restless mind. They need to keep

learning. They can't remain dormant. They need to learn a new

25
programming language now and then, a new framework, and a new

library.

‘’He study computer engineering personally and i'm still doing so

right now. The reason why I fell in love with computers is simply because it

responds to me. I'm naturally very curios and creative so I needed

something to keep my restless mind going and I found computers to be

the answer.’’

‘’Basically, I don't even have a CpE degree. And everything I

learned about computers and software development was all be myself.

I'm my own personal teacher. I'm almost an auto-didact whenever it

comes to learning anything especially computer related. So, I pick up

stuffs real fast. ‘’

Recently he discovered a new passion for raw electronics and he

want to pursue it with everything we’ve got. Money is never the

motivating factor but the ability to keep learning that ignites that passion

to never stop as new stuffs keep popping out every day to keep my

wandering mind busy.

26
Based on the dictionary of computing, Logic circuit an electric

circuit concerned with logic systems. The term logic device is often used

synonymously. A logic circuit is required to produce specified binary

outputs as a result of specified binary inputs. This may be accomplished by

using logic gates, producing what is called hardware circuitry.

Alternatively, the inputs may be associated with the address lines of a

ROM and the outputs with the data lines of a ROM; this is called firmware

circuitry.

Hardware circuitry constructed from integrated-circuit packages on

circuit boards requires two types of wiring. The first type carries the logic

information between gates. The second type provides the power for the

individual chips. The process of locating the power paths so that they do

not interfere with the logic paths is called power routing.

Logic circuitry may be mathematically analyzed using Boolean (or

switching) algebra. In this representation the binary 1 is associated with

the identity element and the logic 0 is associated with the null element,

i.e. zero.

Based on Maxim and Pressman (2015), Software Engineering is the

application of a systematic disciplined, quantifiable approach to the

27
development, operation and maintenance of software that is the

application of engineering to software.

The foundation for software engineering is the process layer. The

software engineering process is the glue that holds the technology layer

together and enables rational and timely development of computer

software. The software process forms the basis for management control of

software projects and establishes the context in which technical methods

are applied, work products (models, documents, data, reports, forms,

etc.) are produced, milestones are established, quality is ensured, and

change is properly managed.

Based on the article, (2019), Computer Engineering technicians

assist engineers in the design of computer hardware and software, as well

as apply science and engineering principles in the implementation of

designs. Although some of these technician hold a bachelor’s degree

related to computer science or computer engineering, an associate’s

degree in computer engineering technology or electrical; engineering

technology is usually all that is required for entry level employment. Such

as programs provide the computer programming, networking and

electronics knowledge these technicians need in a workplace.

28
Based on the article of Mary Jane (2019), a Computer Engineer

must have extensive technical skills to design and choose software

components. In additional, having technical skills on software and

hardware can suit to the Computer Engineering Students for it is their

passion that fit in their chosen program.

According to Mary Jane, (2019), the skill of a Computer Engineer

which is solve a problem about software programs or operation system is

very important to make the Computer Engineer Manager. Moreover,

being skilful in repairing computer issues can help in achieving dreams.

Major Subjects of Computer Engineering

According to Olumuyiwa (2018), Calculus is the study of curve-linear

gradients and their associated equations, associates directly with the

study of control systems in system engineering and also cybernetics due to

the joint relationship between communication and control parameters.

Solutions to differential equations are essentially functional in natures

which are not applicable directly. Hence the twin subjects, numerical

method, which are approximate methods to differential solutions, etc.,

are highly applicable. Since calculus associates with the study of forces,

mechanics, bringing about differences between linear and dynamical

29
systems then the concept of gearing as an initialization of time and

motion in dynamical systems is from there.

On the study of Duran (2017), Computer architecture is a

specification detailing how a set of software and hardware technology

standards interact to form a computer system or platform. In short,

computer architecture refers to how a computer system is designed and

what technologies it is compatible with. As with other contexts and

meanings of the word architecture, computer architecture is likened to

the art of determining the needs of the user/system/technology, and

creating a logical design and standards based on those requirements.

As stated by Hemmendinger (2017), Computer programming

language, any of various languages for expressing a set of detailed

instructions for a digital computer. Such instructions can be executed

directly when they are in the computer manufacturer-specific numerical

form known as machine language, after a simple substitution process

when expressed in a corresponding assembly language, or after

translation from some “higher-level” language. Although there are many

computer languages, relatively few are widely used. Machine and

assembly languages are “low-level,” requiring a programmer to manage

30
explicitly all of a computer’s idiosyncratic features of data storage and

operation. In contrast, high-level languages shield a programmer from

worrying about such considerations and provide a notation that is more

easily written and read by programmers.

Based on the study of Math World Classroom (2017), Discrete

mathematics is the branch of mathematics dealing with objects that can

assume only distinct, separated values. The term "discrete mathematics" is

therefore used in contrast with "continuous mathematics," which is the

branch of mathematics dealing with objects that can vary smoothly (and

which includes, for example, calculus). Whereas discrete objects can

often be characterized by integers, continuous objects require real

numbers.

The study of how discrete objects combine with one another and

the probabilities of various outcomes is known as combinatorics. Other

fields of mathematics that are considered to be part of discrete

mathematics include graph theory and the theory of computation. Topics

in number theory such as congruence’s and recurrence relations are also

considered part of discrete mathematics.

31
Topics in discrete mathematics usually include the study of

algorithms, their implementations, and efficiencies. Discrete mathematics

is the mathematical language of computer science, and as such, its

importance has increased dramatically in recent decades.

According to Techlopedia (2015), Computer architecture is a

specification detailing how a set of software and hardware technology

standards interact to form a computer system or platform. In short,

computer architecture refers to how a computer system is designed and

what technologies it is compatible with. As with other contexts and

meanings of the word architecture, computer architecture is likened to

the art of determining the needs of the user/system/technology, and

creating a logical design and standards based on those requirements.

There are three categories of computer architecture: System

Design: This includes all hardware components in the system, including

data processors aside from the CPU, such as the graphics processing unit

and direct memory access. It also includes memory controllers, data

paths and miscellaneous things like multiprocessing and virtualization.

Instruction Set Architecture (ISA): This is the embedded

programming language of the central processing unit. It defines the CPU's

32
functions and capabilities based on what programming it can perform or

process. This includes the word size, processor register types, memory

addressing modes, data formats and the instruction set that programmers

use.

Microarchitecture: Otherwise known as computer organization, this

type of architecture defines the data paths, data processing and storage

elements, as well as how they should be implemented in the ISA.

According to Saverin (2017), "System programming" (or "systems

programming") tends to mean programming done at a lower level of

abstraction than (for example) gameplay programming. Gameplay

programming is usually about building the actual game mechanics and

front-facing features that a user might see, whereas systems programming

are more about building the frameworks upon which gameplay

programmer’s work.

Struggles of Computer Engineering

According to Kirk, K. (2019), Teachers have a lot to do with their

students’ motivational level. A student may arrive in class with a certain

degree of motivation. But the teacher’s behavior and teaching style, the
33
structure of the course, the nature of the assignments and informal

interactions with the students all have a large effect on student

motivation. We may have heard the utterance, “my students are so

unmotivated’ and the good news is that there’s a lot that we can do to

change that.

According to Baberwal (2015), the engineering grand challenges

facing the world today require innovation in engineering to solve

tomorrow’s greatest problems. In the field of Computer Engineering

Secure Cyber Space and secure cyber space and Virtual Reality are the

Grand Challenges for Knowledge Era. The Grand Challenges are a call to

action and serve as a focal point for society's attention to opportunities

and challenges affecting our quality of life. In this paper a detailed

analysis on both challenges including areas of further research, problems

and some proposed solutions by various authors has been discussed.

Synthesis

The cited literatures and related studies influenced the present

study in a way that is selected on the basis of their significance and

relevance to the goals of the researchers. Through the use of these

literature and studies as reference, the present researchers will analyze the
34
comparison and contrast of present study to cited literature and related

studies of lived experiences of Computer engineering Students at

Tanauan City College.

According to the studies of Pressman, Maxim, and innovative

Training Works, a computer is an electronic device operating under the

control of instructions that accept data, produce results and store the

results for future use, and in the present study it has a comparison in the

information given about the computer.

In the study of Fasano, about the importance of Computer

Engineering career, they think that computers and engineering are

distinct technological pursuits, as people often equate engineering with

large microscopic chips. As a result, engineering are seeing a significant

expansion of options on how they can pursue work, and it has very similar

in the present study on how engineering works.

Also, based on the studies of Harris et. al., Silvestro, and Lucas,

engineering is an important and learned profession, it is also the

application of science and math to solve problems. Engineers design,

evaluate, develop, test, modify, install, inspect, and maintain a wide

variety od products and systems.

35
Based on the study of Olumuyiwa , Calculus is the study of

equations of curve-linear gradients, study of control systems in System

Engineering and also the communication and control parameters in

cybernetics.

According to Duran, Computer architecture study have greatly

contributed to the current study on how a set of software and hardware

technology standards interact to form a computer system or platform.

On the study of Hemmendinger, the study of Computer

Programming Language used numerical form known as machine

language to give the instructions directly when they are in the computer

manufacturer.

Based on the study of Mathworld Classroom, Discrete mathematics

is how discrete objects combine with one another and the probabilities of

various outcomes is known as combinatorics.

According to Saverin, System Programming tends to be done at a

lower level of abstraction than gameplay programming, it is usually about

building the actual game mechanics.

36
On the study of Baberwal, challenges and struggles of the students

of Computer Engineering require innovation to solve tomorrow’s greatest

problems. Also the grand challenges are call to action and serve as a

focal point for society’s attention to opportunities and challenges

affecting our quality of life.

In sum, the above mentioned related studies have greatly

contributed to the current study as they give all the information in

engineering, and things to know about in this field.

Chapter 3

Methodology

This chapter will present the depiction of research methodology

including research design, co-researchers of the study, instrumentation

data gathering procedures, ethical considerations, and qualitative data

analysis.

Research Design

The study will use the qualitative research with phenomenology as

approach. A research tool, phenomenology is based on the academic

disciplines of philosophy and psychology and has become a widely

accepted method for describing human experiences. A

phenomenological study attempts to set aside biases and preconceived

assumptions about human experiences, feelings, and responses to a

particular situation. The researcher study will conduct through the use of

in-depth interviews of the five (5) participants which are computer

engineering students at Tanauan City College.

With this, the researchers will found out what are the lived

experiences of computer engineering students with the help of an in-

38
depth analysis to interpret and compare result of the interviews that will

be conducted.

Co-researchers of the Study

The researchers will select five (5) fourth year computer engineering

students at Tanauan City College because they are the one who knows

more about the life of a Computer Engineering. They have a lot of

experiences in facing problems and struggles about their program and

they are veteran in skills to computer than the young ones.

Data-Gathering Procedure

The researchers will conduct the data with the cooperation of

Tanauan City College's students to get information about their life

experiences in Computer Engineering program. Afterwards, the

researchers will interview the chosen co-researchers that will suit to answer

the gather data about the study. After writing down the interviews, the

questionnaires retrieve will be immediately tabulated and interpreted for

the analysis of qualitative data.

39
Instrumentation

The researchers will use the ten (10) guide questions which will utilize

as interview questions for the five students of Computer Engineering

program. Thereafter, the researchers will personally approach to co-

researchers and clarify the aim of the interview. The interview will be

started on February 14, 2019 and will be done on February 15, 2019.

The researchers will use the following interview questions for the

Computer Engineering Students:

1. What are the reasons why you choose Computer Engineering as your

program?

2. What is the most important attitude of being Computer Engineering

students?

3. What are your background experiences in choosing Computer

Engineering as your program?

4. In your own words, how is Computer Engineering differ from other

Engineering programs?

5. What do you think is the most important skill to become a Computer

Engineering?
40
6. How did you know that Computer Engineering suits your skills?

7. What are the teaching strategies applied by your instructors in your

major subjects?

8. What is the most difficult subject that you encounter? Why?

9. What are the struggles you face in being a Computer Engineering

students?

10. What are the strategies that you apply to cope-up with your struggles?

Ethical Consideration

The ethical guidelines as specified in the research manual of the

school will be followed by the researchers as those ethical considerations

were taken into account throughout this paper. The interview will

participate by the chosen students of Computer Engineering and the

lived experiences shared by them. The informed consent of the

respondents will sought by the researchers in explaining to them the

importance/significance and objectives of the study. The data and

information gathered will be kept in confidentiality. The works of the said

authors were properly recognized and will not be change.

41
For this study, which intended to look in to the lived experiences of

Computer Engineering Students, no question that can cost insult on the

experiences of the students will included in the sub questions. In addition,

the sub-questions will be constructed in such a way that there is no

discrimination or any reference to any specific religion or organization.

Treatment Qualitative Data

After gathering all the data coming from the interviews conducted,

the researchers will be transcribed the interviews with the Computer

Engineering students at Tanauan City College. Afterwards, the researchers

will wrest the similar responses of the Computer Engineering students

classify by the content and assemble. The emerging themes will be

extracted from the similar responses per line of the exactly transcription.
42
Chapter 4

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter presents the analysis and interpretation of the data

gathered in this study. The intention of this phenomenological study was to

describe and understand the lived experiences of Computer Engineering

Students at Tanauan City College. Methods of inquiry included

phenomenological reflection on the data elicited by interviewing the

Fourth year Computer Engineering Students about their experiences in

their program. As such, this research was guided by the following central

question:

What are the lived experiences of Computer Engineering Students at

Tanauan City College?

The following are the answers for the Corollary Questions:

Corollary Question 1: How are the lived experiences of Computer

Engineering Students at Tanauan City College?

Question A: What are the reasons why you choose Computer Engineering
as your program?
Table 1A presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides direct

quotations on Students' reasons why they choose CpE as their program.

Observation

Respondent ‘’Ano ahh yung naging reason Student A is not

A kung bakit yun, nung gumaraduate comfortable while
ako, yun na talaga yung gusto ko, we are
kumbaga yun na rin talaga yung interviewing.
ambisyon ko, maging isang CpE.’’

Most of the responses of the co-researchers in the study are based

on their personal knowledge and personal experiences in Computer.

These results showed the ambition and the experiences of the co-

researchers in the computer that served as their background knowledge

in taking Computer Engineering as their program. Other exemplar

responses are as follows:

‘’Ano dati kase ano inacess yung grades namin sa…ahhh…nung…

pre-registration inacess yung grades namin tapos… ano pasok kami

dun sa ano sa requirements so dun kami nilagay.’’

According to Onipe, (2015), the motivation for anyone to study

computer engineering is simply their restless mind. They need to keep

learning. They can't remain dormant. They need to learn a new

44
programming language now and then, a new framework, and a new

Recently he discovered a new passion for raw electronics and he

want to pursue it with everything he’ve got. Money is never the motivating

factor but the ability to keep learning that ignites that passion to never

stop as new stuffs keep popping out every day to keep my wandering

mind busy.
45
Question B: What is the most important attitude of being Computer

Engineering Students?

Table1B presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides direct

quotations on most important attitude of being Computer Engineering

Students.

Table 1B

patience, initiative. researchers

The co-researchers in the study were unanimous in their responses

with regards to the attitude of being patience in terms of Computer

programming. These results showed the most important attitude that the

Computer Engineering students should be. Other exemplars are as follow:

46
"Ahm ang imporranteng attitude yung ano, being humble lagi

naman, huwag yung maging sobrang taas kahit sobrang galing mo

na sa pagpoprogramming."

47
to exceed expectations. Read more Falling Into Place: 7 Traits to Transform

them from Regular Engineer to Master Engineer, the early bird catches the

worm. This proverb says it all. If they do something early at work, which of

course requires them to report in early, they will do more and hence be

more successful with what they do. This is the practice of productive

people who maximizes time at work.

Interview Question C: What are your background experiences in

choosing Computer Engineering as your program?

Table C presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides direct

quotations on the background experiences CpE as their program.

Table 1C

Engineering.

Most of the responses of the co-researchers in the study are based

on their background in Computer programming, and also based on their

48
experience in it. These results showed the background knowledge of the

co-researchers in computer. Other exemplars are as follows:

‘’Nong pinili ko talaga ang CpE, wala as in wala talaga yung

Based on the article, (2019), Computer Engineering technicians

assist engineers in the design of computer hardware and software, as well

as apply science and engineering principles in the implementation of

designs. Although some of these technician hold a bachelor’s degree

related to computer science or computer engineering, an associate’s

degree in computer engineering technology or electrical; engineering

technology is usually all that is required for entry level employment. Such

as programs provide the computer programming, networking and

electronics knowledge these technicians need in a workplace.

Interview Question D: In your own word, how is the Computer

Engineering differ from the other Engineering programs?

Table D presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides direct

quotations on Students' differentiation on different engineering programs.

Kapag electronics naman meron din
kaming background kasi nga may
background kami sa electrical so ang
differ ng computer engineering sa
lahat ng engineering is yung sa aming

yung Computer engineering sa lahat
ng engineering unlike sa iba.”
50

The co-researchers in the study were unanimous in their responses

with regards on the generalized knowledge in differentiating the different

engineering programs. These results showed that the Computer

Engineering covered all the other engineering programs except on their

major subjects. Other exemplar responses are as follows:

“Siguro ang engineer pare-parehas lang naman ang engineering

ang pinagkaiba labg yung major nila so parang ano lang

kinaibahan lang namin focus kami sa mga computer engineering

na talagang system”.

Based on the research conducted by Sommerville(2011) and Maxim

and Pressman(2015), Computer Engineering is like Software Engineering

whereat it is an engineering discipline tht is concerned with all aspects of

software production, operation and maintenance of software that is the

application of engineering to software. In addition, computer engineering

is more likely to other engineering programs. It can also do what the other

engineering can do but differ only in the major subjects.

Interview Question E: What do you think is the most important skill to

become a Computer Engineering?

51
Table 1E presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides direct

quotations on Students' important skill to become a Computer

Engineering.

researchers.

The co-researchers in the study were unanimous in their responses

with regards on the important skill to become Computer Engineering.

These results showed being knowledgeable about Computer Hardware

and System is ahead on other students. Other exemplar responses are as

follows:

“Skills okay meron tayong computer skills mas anoyon mas ahead

52
Based on the research conducted by Sommerville(2011), Software

Engineering involves wider responsibilities than simply the application of

technical skills. In additional software Engineering is not just a program, it

needs the mastery on how to use computers.

Interview Question F: How did you know that Computer Engineering

suits your skills?

Table 1F presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides direct

quotations on Students' skill in being Computer Engineering program.

The co-researchers in the study were unanimous in their responses

with regards on the generalized knowledge and experience in defining

skill in Computer Engineering program. These results showed that being

found on the computer systems and hardware can suit your skills in being

Computer Engineering program. Other exemplar responses are as follows:

53
"Kasi... mahal ko yung pagpoprogram kahit sabihin mo baguhan

pa lang ako ditto minahal ko na yung pagpoprog, pagpoprogram and

mas nagugustuhan ko yung yung way ng mga computer field ka unlike sa

ibang program”.

Interview Question G: What are the teaching strategies applied by

your instructors in your major subjects?

Table 1G presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides answers

in teaching strategies that applied by their instructors.

naming strategies".

Most of the co-researchers in the study were responses with regards

on the teaching strategies that applied by their instructors. These results

shows how hard Computer Engineering's experience when facing in their

major subjects. Other exemplar responses are as follows:

"Palaging sinasabi samin na mag-sisp ka beyond doon sa naiisip mo

pa kaya ang teaching ano nya is nagbibigay sya ng madaming

examples para ma... and parang binibuild binibuild nya yung

logical thinking naming palagi"

"More ano-ano kami... laboratory ganon practical ganon”.

"Sa lahat ng mga naging ano instructor namin sa mga mentors ko

lahat naman sila magagaling nagtuturo sila ng step by step so

madaling maintindihan”.
55
According to Kirk, K. (2019), Teachers have a lot to do with their

students’ motivational level. A student may arrive in class with a certain

degree of motivation. But the teacher’s behavior and teaching style, the

structure of the course, the nature of the assignments and informal

interactions with the students all have a large effect on student

motivation. We may have heard the utterance, “my students are so

unmotivated’ and the good news is that there’s a lot that we can do to

change that.

Interview Question H: What is the most difficult subject that you

encounter? Why?

Table 1H presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides answers

in difficult subject their encounter.

The co-researchers in the study we're unanimous in their responses

with regards on the difficult subject that they encounter. These results

showed what was the difficult subject they encounter in their program.

Other exemplar responses are as follows:

"Siguro sa pag aanalyze siguro ng problem gaya ng logic circuits

yun lang"

Based on the dictionary of computing, Logic circuit an electric

circuit concerned with logic systems. The term logic device is often used

synonymously. A logic circuit is required to produce specified binary

outputs as a result of specified binary inputs. This may be accomplished by

using logic gates, producing what is called hardware circuitry.

57
Alternatively, the inputs may be associated with the address lines of a

ROM and the outputs with the data lines of a ROM; this is called firmware

circuitry.

Hardware circuitry constructed from integrated-circuit packages on

circuit boards requires two types of wiring. The first type carries the logic

information between gates. The second type provides the power for the

individual chips. The process of locating the power paths so that they do

not interfere with the logic paths is called power routing.

Logic circuitry may be mathematically analyzed using Boolean (or

switching) algebra. In this representation the binary 1 is associated with

the identity element and the logic 0 is associated with the null element,

i.e. zero.

Interview Question I: What are the struggles you face in being a

Computer Engineering Student?

Table 1I presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides answers

in struggles they face being Computer Engineering Student.

Most of the co-researchers in the study responses with regards on

the struggles they face. These results showed the struggles that are now

facing by the Computer Engineering Students. Other exemplar responses

are as follows:

"Yun kapag nagsasabay-sabay yung hinihinging output ng major

subject namin atsaka minor kasi kailangan ibabalance mo yun

59

time mo kasi parang sabay sabay yung gagawin mo”.

According to Saverin (2017), "System programming" (or "systems

programming") tends to mean programming done at a lower level of

abstraction than (for example) game play programming. Game play

programming is usually about building the actual game mechanics and

front-facing features that a user might see, whereas systems programming

are more about building the frameworks upon which game play

programmer’s work.
60
As stated by Hemmendinger (2017), Computer programming

language, any of various languages for expressing a set of detailed

instructions for a digital computer. Such instructions can be executed

directly when they are in the computer manufacturer-specific numerical

form known as machine language, after a simple substitution process

when expressed in a corresponding assembly language, or after

translation from some “higher-level” language. Although there are many

computer languages, relatively few are widely used. Machine and

assembly languages are “low-level,” requiring a programmer to manage

explicitly all of a computer’s idiosyncratic features of data storage and

operation. In contrast, high-level languages shield a programmer from

worrying about such considerations and provide a notation that is more

easily written and read by programmers.

Interview Question J: What are the strategies that you apply to

cope-up with your struggles?

Table 1J presents sample testimonies that serve as exemplars of

other co-researchers’ responses. Specifically, the table provides answers

in that they apply to cope in their struggles.

61
Table 1J

to Cope-up in their Struggles

Participant Response Researchers’

Observation

Respondent ”Time management lang, kung baga Respondent B was

B ehh alamin mo lang kung ano yung smiling in the last

The co-researchers in the study responses were unanimous with

regards on the strategies to Cope-up in their struggles. These results

showed the strategies that are used in the struggles that are now facing

by the Computer Engineering Students. Other exemplar responses are as

follows:

“Ayon timemanagement lang atsaka dasal ganon”.

“Ahm...siguro time management”.

62
In the 1970s, the ABC prioritization method was the rage. Any

project or action item landing on the A list was deemed most important,

with second most important items appearing on the B list, and C items

marked as least important. Over time, various iterations of this formula

floated through the zeitgeist. For example, the most unpleasant tasks

wound up on the A list in order to get them out of the way. Today, the

work landscape has changed somewhat, with more and more tasks

landing on the "Most Important" list.

Corollary Question 2: What are the common themes that arouse in

the study?

The result of the study shows that Computer Engineers’ should be

aligned to the students who are initiative and have patient. Students must

know the hardware and software of a computer, to help them in

programming. Also some of the strategies of the major subject teachers of

Computer Engineering help them in creating a program, some strategies

that they are using are appropriate because Computer Engineering

Students are understand the topic that they are tackling, and based on

the answers of the co-researchers, programming was hardest subject for

them. When they do the programming, they need to create a program

beyond those knowledge and they must do it better in other Engineering

63
Students. More of the Computer Engineering Students in Tanauan City

College are working students and they need to manage their time for

them to pass all the requirements in school, also for them to manage their

work.

Corollary Question 3: Based on the findings, what recommendations

can be proposed for the Future Computer Engineers students?

The researchers suggested that, first, in Computer engineering

students to manage their time to their different activities in school and

work. Students should know the proper time management. They must be

logical thinker in all things, they must think for out of the box solution not

only in the easiest way. Computer Engineering was flexible in all types of

engineering and it is not an easy program but if you love this program you

can survive. Choose this program not because they access students here;

choose this because Computer Engineering suits in your skills. Computer

engineering students must always be humbling all times. Second, to the

major subject instructors of Computer Engineers’, continue to encourage

the students for the better improvement and more understanding to

come in their mind. Give them more easiest way in doing programming

subject because it is one of the hardest things that Computer Engineering

do. And lastly, to the future researchers, this can be one of their guides to
64
their upcoming researches. They can use this but plagiarism is a crime.

They can improve this study by using another type of engineering and

other respondents.
65
Chapter 5

CONSOLIDATED FINDINGS, REFLECTIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Presented in this chapter are the consolidated findings of the study,

reflections and recommendations of the researcher based on the findings

derived from the structured interviews of co-researchers of the Lived

Experiences of Computer Engineering Students at Tanauan City College.

Following is a recapitulation of the central question and sub-questions:

What are the lived experiences of the Computer Engineering Students at

Tanauan City College?

Corollary Questions

1.) How are the lived experiences of Computer Engineering Students at

Tanauan City College be described?

2.) What are the common themes that arouse in the study?

3.) Based on the findings, what recommendations can be proposed in

proposed for the Future Computer Engineers students?

Summary

The result showed that Computer Engineer students chose their

program because they have experiences and knowledge about

hardware and software. They have the skills on computer that the
66
Computer Engineer should have. On the other hand, the result showed

that most of the co-researchers were having difficulties in their major

subject and time management for some of the working students.

Reflection

The study of the researchers on the “Lived Experiences of computer

Engineering Students at Tanauan City College”, about the difficulties,

struggles and the experiences being a student’s of Computer Engineering.

And for those students who will take Computer Engineering as their

program they need to know and study this study of the researchers. It will

reflect to the lived experiences for CpE students, and for those people

who uses computer in the everyday life, you should use it in a right way

and use with care. It also reflects that every students took Computer

Engineering does not experience simple thing; they experience more than

that, one that only computer Engineering or the one who loves computer

can do.

Recommendation

The researchers suggested that, first, in Computer engineering

students to manage their time to their different activities in school and

work. Students should know the proper time management. They must be
67
logical thinker in all things, they must think for out of the box solution not

only in the easiest way. Computer Engineering was flexible in all types of

engineering and it is not an easy program but if you love this program you

can survive. Choose this program not because they access students here;

choose this because Computer Engineering suits in your skills. Computer

engineering students must always be humbling all times. Second, to the

major subject instructors of Computer Engineers’, continue to encourage

the students for the better improvement and more understanding to

come in their mind. Give them more easiest way in doing programming

subject because it is one of the hardest things that Computer Engineering

do. And lastly, to the future researchers, this can be one of their guides to

their upcoming researches. They can use this but plagiarism is a crime.

They can improve this study by using another type of engineering and

other respondents.

APPENDIX B

Transcription of Interview

Question 1: What are the reasons why you choose Computer Engineering
as your program?
A.“Ano ahh yung naging reason kung bakit yun, nung gumaraduate ako,
B. "Napili ko to kasi, may background ako from computer technician then
nagoffer sila ng Computer Engineering dito so I chose computer
engineering as my program".
C. “Ano dati kasi ano inacess yung grades naming sa...ahhh... nung...
pre-registration inacess yung grades namin tapos ... ano pasok kami dun
computers".
E. "Ahhhmm.. Gusto ko talagang.. Gusto ko talagang course is
Engineering na medyo in demand sya 'pag nakatapos ahhhmmm.. Gusto
Question 2: What is the most important attitude of being Computer
Engineering students?
A. "Ahm ang importanteng attitude yung ano, being humble lagi lang
engineering is yung pagiging logically thinker kasi pag hindi ka logically
thinker as computer engineering wala kang mabibuild kahit anong
program and kahit anong projects".
78
D. “Siguro bilang isang computer engineering kailangan mong maging
patience, initiative".
E. "Attitude.. Hindi naman natin masasabi na kapag Computer
Engineering ka ganito ka talaga ganito yung attitude mo, iba't ibang kasi
tayo, iba't iba tayong tao e, ano lang sakin lang e lahat naman ay
responsble yon responsable talaga”.
Qestion 3: What are your background experiences in choosing Computer
Engineering as your program?
A. “Nong pinili ko talaga ang CpE, wala as in wala talaga yung
talaga yung maging CpE students”.
B. “As I was said nga, computer technician yung course ko dati so tinuloy
e”.
Question 4: In your own words, how is Computer Engineering differ from
other Engineering programs?
A. “Ahh, in my own words its mahirap ang, medyo mahirap ang CpE
then kapag sa chemical engineer naman is parang automization din sya
79
naming yon then sa ano pa nga ba! Ano pa bang engineers? Electrical
kaming circuits, then ...ano pa nga ba..? industrial? Kapag electronics
is yung sa aming pinakagenginegen ginegeneralize yung Computer
may mga hardware and software kami”.
talagang system”.
Question 5: What do you think is the most important skill to become a
Computer Engineering?
A. “Ang important skill ahh, marami syang designated na pwdeng
maging part, pwede kang maging programmer, pwede kang maging
software engineer or kung ano man”.
out of the box hindi pwedeng basta mo lang iispin ang pinakamadaling
solusyon”.
C. “Kailangan magaling kang maganalyze”.
D. “So kailangan, magaling ka sa software and hardware”.
80
Question 6: How did you know that Computer Engineering suits your skills?
ibang program”.
C. “Ayon pumapasa pa naman kami ganon yun hopefully
makagraduate na kami next year ganon”.
talaga”.
Question 7: What are the teaching strategies applied by your instructors in
your major subjects?
A. “Teaching strategies applied by your instructors. Ahh iba’t-iba minsan
traditional, ngayon yung saaming logic, advance logic circuits, ano
programming talaga yung ginagamit naming strategies”.
kaya ang teaching ano nya is nagbibigay sya ng madaming examples
para ma... and parang binibuild binibuild nya yung logical thinking
naming palagi”.
C. “More ano-ano kami... laboratory ganon practical ganon”.
lahat naman sila magagaling nagtuturo sila ng step by step so madaling
maintindihan”.
namin sya major math yon yung gusto strategy, teacher nyo sya diba?
Yon. Alam nyo na naman iyan”.
Question 8: What is the most difficult subject that you encounter? Why?
A. “Programming kasi yun nga kailangan talaga ng logic”.
81
B. "Pinaka mahirap parasakin is circuits naming kasi wala akong
Question 9: What are the struggles you face in being a Computer
Engineering students?
A. “Ahh, time management kasi at the same time estudyante ako tapos
kaming palagi naming kailangan pagisipan mo ng boung magdamag or
E. “Ano... Major, lahat ng major mahirap”.
Question 10: What are the strategies that you apply to cope-up with your
struggles?
82
C. Ayon timemanagement lang atsaka dasal ganon”.
D. “Ahm...siguro time management”.
E. “Struggles niya ay.. Pinakamahirap ay hindi mo mamanage yung time
mo kasi parang sabay sabay yung gagawin mo”.
