Documentation shall mean, whether in electronic or printed form, User's Guides, Installation Guides, Reference Guides,
Administrator's Guides, Customization Guides, Programmer's Guides, Configuration Guides and Help Guides delivered with a
particular software product.
Other Documentation
Other Documentation shall mean, whether in electronic or printed form and delivered with software or on Hexagon PPM Smart
Support, SharePoint, or box.net, any documentation related to work processes, workflows, and best practices that is provided by
Hexagon PPM as guidance for using a software product.
Terms of Use
a. Use of a software product and Documentation is subject to the End User License Agreement ("EULA") delivered with the
software product unless the Licensee has a valid signed license for this software product with Hexagon PPM Corporation. If the
Licensee has a valid signed license for this software product with Hexagon PPM Corporation, the valid signed license shall
take precedence and govern the use of this software product and Documentation. Subject to the terms contained within the
applicable license agreement, Hexagon PPM Corporation gives Licensee permission to print a reasonable number of copies of
the Documentation as defined in the applicable license agreement and delivered with the software product for Licensee's
internal, non-commercial use. The Documentation may not be printed for resale or redistribution.
b. For use of Documentation or Other Documentation where end user does not receive a EULA or does not have a valid license
agreement with Hexagon PPM, Hexagon PPM grants the Licensee a non-exclusive license to use the Documentation or Other
Documentation for Licensee’s internal non-commercial use. Hexagon PPM Corporation gives Licensee permission to print a
reasonable number of copies of Other Documentation for Licensee’s internal, non-commercial. The Other Documentation may
not be printed for resale or redistribution. This license contained in this subsection b) may be terminated at any time and for
any reason by Hexagon PPM Corporation by giving written notice to Licensee.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL HEXAGON PPM CORPORATION’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT THAT HEXAGON PPM

d. d. To any entity when Licensee knows, or has reason to know, that an illegal reshipment will take place.

LICENSING
WHAT IS A HARDWARE LOCK?
Hardware locks are software locking mechanisms used by many software vendors. These are small USB
keys that attach to the USB port of the computer.

WILL MY HARDWARE LOCK LICENSE EXPIRE AFTER A YEAR?

No, a Full License of CADWorx never expires. When customers purchase CADWorx, they receive a
permanent license.

CAN LICENSES BE PURCHASED FOR ONE USER?

Yes, standalone licenses may be purchased for one user.

CAN MULTI-SEAT LICENSES BE PURCHASED?

Yes, multi-seat licenses are placed on a network lock.

WHICH PLATFORMS DOES CADWORX WORK WITH?
CADWorx works with compatible versions of AutoCAD and BricsCAD. All drawings generated with
CADWorx are standard DWG format deliverables. BricsCAD Platinum is included with all CADWorx Plant,
Structure, and P&ID purchases.

WHAT VERSIONS OF AUTOCAD/BRICSCAD IS CADWORX

COMPATIBLE WITH?

details regarding AutoCAD and BricsCAD version compatibility.

CAN A CADWORX MODEL BE OPENED IN JUST

AUTOCAD/BRICSCAD?
Yes, drawings may be opened using AutoCAD or BricsCAD. The native drawing format of a CADWorx
drawing is a standard DWG format file. CADWorx is compatible with the following Autodesk vertical

The native drawing format of a CADWorx drawing is a standard DWG format file. CADWorx works with
compatible versions of the BricsCAD Pro and BricsCAD Platinum editions.

DOES CADWORX WORK ON 32- AND 64-BIT PLATFORMS?

As of CADWorx 2016, 64-bit platforms only are supported.
