    BONDEX® A 117
    Bondex® A-117 is based on Acrylic Polymer Emulsion. It has very high tack, good Shear Strength with instant bond &
    non-migrating properties, due to which the long term durability is better. It is mainly used for B.O.P.P. Packaging Tapes
    / OPP carton sealing tape making.
    It gives peel strength of min 500 – max 750 gm/inch at 30⁰C after application on BOPP film (18 – 25 micron coating)
    and shear more than 400 min (dry weight)
    TYPE : Water based Emulsion

    CHEMICAL COMPOSITION : Synthetic Acrylic Resin Emulsion


    PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
    Appearance : Milky White Emulsion
    % Solid content : 55 + 1
    Viscosity at 30ºC by ford cup B4 Size : 18 – 24 sec
    pH : 8 to 10

    Tack (Rolling ball method) application : 4 to 7 cm


    on BOPP film (18-25 micron coating)
    TYPE OF APPLICATORS : It being a low viscosity emulsion, the best coating method will be roller
    coating with a Mayer bar to control the coating weight. Alternately an
    air knife can also be used. The product can also be thickened and
    coated by reverse roller or comma coating method.
    SUGGESTED USES : BOPP Self-Adhesive Tapes/ Jumbo Rolls, Holograms, Inner lining of
    suitcase and soft leather bags and other related pressure sensitive
    applications.
    PIGMENTED COLOURED PASTE : Our Bondex® range of pigmented colored paste is recommended for
    imparting opacity & required color tint to Bondex® A-117.Our brown
    colored series Bondex® BR is very popular & almost more than 50
    tinting varieties are available.
    HANDLING & STORAGE : Store in sealed containers in dry condition at temperatures between
    15-300C, away from direct heat, sunlight, dust and moisture. Protect
    from frost. Containers once opened should be shut tightly to prevent
    contamination. Stocks should be used on a first in, first out basis. Do
    not mix with other products without consulting us / doing your own
    test to determine its suitability, as it can lead to incompatibility and
    other related problems.
