Most MUIDS students have different activities to do after school. Those activities can
help to improve both educational and physical development such as clubs, playing sports
and doing homework. Some of those activities may be very useful for students and those
may help their lives in the future. According to Ward (2018), after-school time is also a good
time for students to find some activities to do which can help them to improve themselves.
So students should use that useful time to find something to do that can help to improve
themselves. If students enjoy doing something after school and that may help them improve
The purpose of this article is to find out which after-school activity at school that most
MUIDS students attend. The importance of this research is to encourage MUIDS to find a
way to support more to that activity that will help students to improve themselves more by
attending the activities that they like. The author uses three academic articles from different
sources to relate the results and interpretation of the survey to other research studies.
The question asked what do MUIDS students usually do after school. The answers
are divided into three intervals of time. First interval is from 16.00 to 18.00, 64% of the
students usually go to home, 29.2% play sports at school, 41.7% do their homework, 41.7%
go out with friends, 4.2% play games, 4.2% go to tutoring, 4.2% chat with their friends and
4.2% attend music clubs. Second interval is from 18.00 to 21.00, 70.8% eat dinner, 54.2%
do their homework, 29.2% sleep, 50% play games, 4.2% watch movies and 4.2% go home.
Third interval is from 21.00 to 24.00, 58.3% sleep, 45.8% do homework, 37.5% play games,
4.2 % chat with his/her partner, 4.2% watch netflix, 8.4% watch TV or youtube. Most MUIDS
students have their own activities due to interval of times. Some usually do home right after
school but some stay at school and play sports or do their homework. According to the
survey, if MUIDS students don’t go home right after school, they either do their homework or
play sports. So MUIDS should support these two activities by providing more equipments to
that sport or providing places to play other new sports and also providing a proper place for
According to Sarikas (2015), those activities have many benefits such as MUIDS may
meet new people or become better students. If students use the place that are provided for
homework, they will have more time to do other things at home. According to Winters (2018),
if students have more sport equipments or more space to play other sports, they can

This research report concludes that school should support students activities after
school. After school time is a time that students can use to do something that they like and
which will help them in future life and improve their health, social skills and teamwork. That
will help students want to learn more or do more activities that they like.
