• Sausage Rolls | The quantity in this recipe is pretty huge – it would feed a family of four
for two nights, or if the rolls are cut smaller they are great nger food for party.

INGREDIENTS
• 1 k g g ood qu a lit y s a u s a g e m in ce
• 5 0 0 g beef m in c e
• 2 brow n on ion s , g ra t ed
• 2 ca rrot s , g ra t ed
• ½ c u p t om a t o s a u ce
• ¼ c u p F ren c h m u s t a rd
• 2 t a blespoon s c u rry pow der
• 1 t ea spoon s a lt
• ½ t ea spoon pepper
• 6 sh eet s froz en pu pa s t ry
• 1 eg g , bea t en
METHOD
2. In a bowl, place all ingredients except for the pastry and egg. Using your hands,
work the mixture very well until all combined.
3. Lay the pastry out on a work surface and cut each sheet in half. Work with the
pastry still a little bit rm from the freezer as it is easier to handle.
4. Divide the sausage mixture into 12 pieces and lay in a line along the length of
each pastry half- sheet. Fold the two sides over the sausage mixture and gently
press to join.
5. Turn the rolls over, cut into sixths and brush with the egg combined with 1
tablespoon water.
