called DESI company , and “ Made in china” tag , so we normally make judgments that the tag
which says “ made in china “ only come from china , its not so .

as Indian companies know that “ made in china” tag has its own disadvantages , as Indian people
don’t like to buy “ china” products , at any cheap rate you give them due to understanding of low
quality , so seller normally get the bare products ( without box ) , box is made in india saying “
made in India” or “ packed in India” or “ Imported by” , now these are the companies which are
famous as Indian brand so they get the cheap Chinese products , change the box or lable , put the
huge MRP ( 10 times of sourcing price , 1000% profit ) , give some warranty ( replacement of
product - which is quite affordable as out of 100 product sold only 2 to 4 has to come back under
warranty , its law of probability ) . we Indian use so many products Under the misconception of as “
MADE IN INDIA” product which is not the

case .

now you cant judge that its come from china , From same manufacturer which made the famous
INDIAN brand called “ FEVIS***K” , this glustick is available for 4 Rs for retail , and branded is
selling for 15 rs , ( sourcing price 2 Rs ) , that’s you can called “ CHINA MADE INDIAN BRAND
(CMIB )”

as we know that In India all Gadgets whichh run on Batteries or Electricity comes from china , all
toys run on batteries are Chinese , maximum stationery products including even 2 Rs sharpener ,
eraser , even straws also. The products which are getting sold on the nukes and traffic signal by
poor people ( don’t know why they are poor? ,actually their turnover is more than my turnover ) all
are sourced from china , you ask them where this product come from they may not know that it
came from “YIWU - INTERNATIONAL TRADE CITY from Zhejiang provenience of China” , but
this fellow is getting his food due to China .

The smallest product like this 2 Rs knife or cutter its also source from china

then you can imagin that all types of the cutters , scissors , knife also come from china .

or lets say calculator (not the single calculator is made in India, its all came from china, Now funny
thing is that, The biggest manufacturer of calculator is ( it should be now was),

CITIZEN from JAPAN, but whatever calculator we using thinking its originals are the copy of citize
made IN CHINA. you can Find CITIIZEN (one I extra) instead of CITIZEN (who says its brand
violations), we may not be able to afford original citizen calci. (Rs 400+), copy is 100/-, ( i should
thanks chinese people for saving my money)

but Recently DGAD discontinues ADD on imports of Phenyl and Methyl from China

The Directorate General of Anti-dumping & Allied Duties (DGAD) has recommended
discontinuation of anti-dumping duties on the imports of 1-Phenyl-3-Methyl-5-Pyrazolone from
China, after finding that the imports are not causing material injury to the domestic industry.

“The Authority, in its sunset review investigation, is of the view that continuation of anti-dumping
duty, on the imports of 1-Phenyl-3-Methyl-5-Pyrazolone, originating in or exported from the China,
is not required,” DGAD said in a notification (Sl. 86) dated August 9, 2017.

“Having initiated and conducted the present review investigation into continued dumping, injury
and causal link in terms of the Antidumping Rules, the Authority is of the view that the exports
from the subject country are not causing material injury to the domestic industry,” it said.

Further, the analysis of likelihood of injury in view of cessation of duties demonstrates that there is
no reason for continuation of anti-dumping duties against the subject goods from the subject
country, it added.

The DGAD further stated that an appeal against the orders that may arise out of this
recommendation shall lie before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal in
accordance with the relevant provisions of the Act.

The period of investigation was from April 2015 to March 2016. However, injury examination was
conducted for 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15 and the period of investigation.

The application had been filed by Prima Chemicals and Polygon Chemicals with the DGAD for
seeking continuation of anti-dumping duties.

Earlier, in a notification no.47/2016-Customs (ADD) dated August 19, 2016, the Government has
extended the existing anti-dumping duty on the subject goods up to August 23, 2017.
The definitive anti-dumping duty on 1-Phenyl-3-Methyl-5-Pyrazolone imports from China were
imposed in January 2006, which was later extended in August 2011.

I will honestly answer this question , and as a business man and Importer from China2india I like
to rephrased this question like , what are the product we don't import from china ??? Yes
its right , we import almost everything from china , our day to day household things like needle and
buttons for the shirt or jeans to the highly technical gadgest like WiFi router in our house is made
in china and Imported from china .

I will not talked about the The things such as phones and watches or printer or pendrive and SD
card , because we all know that it came from PRC or ROC ( Taiwan ), but let's talked about the
things which is not tagged as Imported from china and we don't know that's also We import from
china

Balloons

Yes even this small balloon comes from china and thanks to Chinese for making this people earn
food for life .
Our malls are filled with Chinese things and some are under the tag of Made in India , yes you read
it right , there are things which directly come as Made in China which we hate to buy so Indian
businessman repacked the product in box which is made in India and label as Made in India or
Marketed in India by so and so company .

The above product is sold at Big bazar , pure made in China but marketed by ………
Oh classic example , gluestic . will not name the brand .

This is Dmart , you can not identify anything which is made in India .
this is called as Generic made in china .

Now there are some experts given the Figure of Imports in India from china , but its all official
figures and actual import figure is 80% higher than that , its called Hawala or Undervalued billing .
If Importers import the goods of 1 crore from china then the invoice is made up of 10 lacs , now
custom department has rule of Mrp act , means goods brought in India should have label of Mrp to
calculate the Custom duty , so the Chinese supplier print the mrp very less .

So the whole deal of 1 crore can be reduced to 10 lac and all the taxes paidon 10 lacs , so in
govt.books the import is noted for 10 lacs but it was actual of 1 crore. And all this money is channel
through hawala network.

Above product is selling at the price of 50 in wholesale market and in retaile around 80/- but price
printed on box is 22.5 /- , its just gimmick of Import .

in India.

I think electronics and capital goods are India's largest import from China.

By how to, do you mean how to find a vendor or how does the legal process work? My guess is you
find a vendor the way you find a vendor anywhere; market research.
As far as the legal process in concerned, you are liable to pay customs duty on the article being
imported. The rate of duty varies from article to article. Customs clearance is typically obtained
once the consignment arrives in India. However, it is not unusual to obtain certain clearances
beforehand and final clearance upon arrival of the consignment.
