CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Aim:
The aim of our website is too getting an attractive website, and with the help of Online
Renting Platform we can rent cars on a small scale basis, the car renting platform shall provide the
facility.

1.2 Objectives:
The main objective of this website was to create a renting website for vehicles which would
provide facilities for families on vacation and people who require cars for a limited time without
burning a hole in their pocket.

1.3 Overview:
We are creating an Online Rental website which is very attractive in look. Our
Website contain special features which we have not seen in any website yet.

Our website is much easy to use as compare to another website I have seen on the internet.

The website is built on web technologies and is capable to rent cars, we looked upon the renting
business and created a website so that a small scale business like us would be able to create a
domain for us on the world wide web. The website should put us on a map which would provide
us customers and run our business on a full scale.

Users can create their accounts and book cars.

1.4 Vision:
The vision is very clear we want our renting business to run and create a major
business out of it, the website should fulfill all the criteria of our customers and ours. We would
make and update this website depending upon the customers’ needs and our products’ ranges. We
would also share our vison with theirs to match and keep moving forward. In the end we would
like to make our business a global business, we would like to match the competitors level and give
them a run for their money.
CHAPTER 2
SYSTEM REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION

2.1 Hardware Requirement:

1. A System having at least following Specification:

 CPU-2.0 GHz Dual Core Intel Pentium Processor.
 X32 or X64 based processor.
 RAM should be at least 1GB.

2. The System should be connected with the internet which may be wired or may be
wireless.

2.2 Software Requirement:

1. Operating System: Window XP/7/8/10.
2. Updated Browser
3. Wamp Server.
CHAPTER 3
PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION

The main problem we saw when we were looking for an idea of the website, we saw that
most of the business today are going on world wide web, since most of the customers are just
one click away from their needs and demand, we saw that the web has a lot of potential for
our business. Our Car business can take a full 108 degree turn once it goes live. We asked
many of the renting business in town what and why they think our idea would work our fail
and most of them had a positive feedback. Initially we thought this should help us in all form
of ways with our website.

The problems we tackled and solved.

1. Market reach: We thought going live on www would give us enough customers and
also get us free publicity for us. We could make collaborations with business like us
and make a fortune or livelihood for each of us.
2. Design and implementation: We made sure that the website should be helpful and
all age group should be able to use it without any problems.
3. Updated User interface: We made a very easy and clean user interface that helps
both a tech enthusiast as well as a novice to learn about the website.
4. Boosting Business: We are boosting business with our website, many of the people
from the locality or even the state can book a car if we have it available at that
moment.
5. Storing data: We would be storing the data on cloud, so that all of our customers’
feedback and their renting history is private.
6. Interaction: With the online nature they can write feedback without caring for our
feelings and write an unbiased feedback. Transparency is given to them.
CHAPTER 4

SYSTEM STUDY
4.1 Existing System along with limitations/deficiencies:

Our project is designed to meet all the customers’ demand, yet there are certain areas
where we lack the knowledge as to make it perfect. Due to time constraints we were unable to fix
some and we fixed some.
More Cars and prices can be added by the admin, the admin has full control over the site
and can change anything. The cars are limited at the time but we can add and edit it anytime with
the help of admin.

Limitations of this website re mostly fixed, right now we only have the feature of offline
payment we would like to go online with the help of unified payment interface later on.

4.2 Proposed system along with intended objectives:

Our proposal is simple we intend to create a niche for ourselves on the internet and that
should give us enough opportunity to boost our business. We also want to give our customers value
for money.
4.3 Feasibility study:

4.3.1 Operational:

Operational feasibility refers to the measure of solving problems with the help of a new
proposed system. It helps in taking advantage of the opportunities and fulfills the requirements as
identified during the development of the project. It takes care that the management and the users
support the project.

Operational means to give information about these six terms:

1. Process:
Process include the booking and delivering operation to be performed by the user.

2. Evaluation:
Evaluating when and on what circumstances the vehicle should be delivered and late fees
are evaluated.

3. Implementation:
Implementation is done in the system to identify the resources inside and outside the
work.

4.Resistant:

Resistant means the thing which stop the regular working of the system have to identify
the most resistant thing and modifications should be done.
5. Strategies:

In this operation we will get dealing with the other organization, and get information how
the other organization will deal with the work.

6. Adapt & Review:

In this operation we will study about how much time an organization will spent to
redesign the work or the project and gives answer of questions like, how will it be
reviewed and monitored? What will happen if through a monitoring process, additional
changes must be made?

4.3.2 Technical:

Technical feasibility study is the complete study of the project in terms of input,
processes, output, fields, programs and procedures. It is a very effective tool for long term
planning and trouble shooting. The technical feasibility study should most essentially support the
financial information of an organization.

There are several factors that are taken into consideration while writing a technical feasibility
report. These include:
 Business description in brief.
 Examination of the part of the business.
 The human and economic factor.
 Solutions to the problems.

4.3.3 Economic:

Economic feasibility analysis is the most commonly used method for determining the
efficiency of a new project. It is also known as cost analysis. It helps in identifying profit against
investment expected from a project. Cost and time are the most essential factors involved in this
field of study. During the process of economic feasibility study, we follow certain best practices
to get the desired result. We do certain assumptions on the basis of which we give you solid plan
of investment.

CHAPTER 8
CONCLUSION & FUTURE WORK

By using standard resources and tools, our visitors are able to view our web pages no matter what
browser they use. Our pages would load faster and we would also be able to maintain the pages
we have created with ease. They can book and cancel their booking anytime without coming to
our store. All the cars would be added with a GPS and a security feature.

The right resources also make it easy for surfers to use our site. The standard tools used for creating
the website will ensure that things such as navigation, menus and layout conform to current
practices with which every web user is familiar with.

Our pages become attractive if we use the right tools. They can display correctly in the browser
and your visitors would be glad to visit again because you appealed to then.

Search engines would index your website. And our business would grow.

Web tools make your web design job easy. Coding can take away a lot of time and produce fatal
errors if you are not proficient. GUI interfaces take away all the incidences of errors and labor, and
give you something manageable.

Speed of implementation comes with the right tools. You can create a website and launch it in an
hour with the right resources. You save on time, effort and never miss important deadlines.

Online rental website can provide all the facilities that would help and grow opportunities for this
website.
