• * = Default Setting, ** = these modes also works on every source input.
• Aspect Ratio control is saved to memory, tied to input.
• OVERCAN
Component over scan: 3~5%
HDMI over scan: No over scan for PC input, 3~5% for video source.
PC(DVI&VGA): No over scan
• Definition of “COMPATIBLE MODE”:
ASIC correctly recognizes the proper resolution and applies the correct display scaling to the image. (I.e. a
1280 x 1024 signal is properly recognized)
The MST6M68FQ is a high performance and fully integrated IC for multi-function LCD
monitor/TV with
resolutions up to full-HD (1920 x 1080). It is configured with an integrated triple-ADC/PLL, an
integrated
DVI/HDCP/HDMI receiver, a multi-standard TV video and audio decoder, a video de-interlacer, a
scaling engine,
an on-screen display controller, an 8-bit MCU and a built-in output panel interface. With external
frame buffer,
3-D video decoding and processing are fulfilled for high-quality TV applications.
The MST6M68FQ comprises an MPEG-2 transport processor with advanced section filtering
capability, an
MPEG-2 (MP@HL profile) video decoder, an MPEG layer I and II digital audio decoder with
analog audio outputs.
Furthermore, it is also possible to decode MPEG-4 and JPEG formats from external sources such as
USB
interfaces.
By integrating peripherals including USB 2.0 host controller, UART, IR, SPI, I2C, and PWM, the
MST6M68FQ
fulfills all requirements in advanced LCD TV sets. To further reduce system costs, the
MST6M68FQ also
integrates intelligent power management control capability for green-mode requirements and
spread-spectrum
support for EMI management.
