ASSESSMENT
SPECIFICATION
TABLE

SYLLABUS 1.0 EXPONENTS AND LOGARITHMS (04 : 04)

This topic introduces the basic laws of exponents and logarithms.
It also covers their applications to simplify expression and
problem solving.
2.0 DIFFERENTIATION (14 : 14)
This topic explains more on the techniques of differentiation. It
covers the basic rules of differentiation, parametric equation,
implicit differentiation, second order differentiation and derivatives
of trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions. It also
explains application of differentiation in calculating the rates of
change in addition solving maximum and minimum problems.
3.0 INTEGRATION (12 : 12)
This topic describes the integration for algebraic, trigonometric,
exponential and reciprocal functions. It also builds an
ZAU
understanding of the integration applications in calculating the
areas and the volumes of bounded region.
