    To Whom It May Concern,

    I was pleased to hear from Karen Huerta when she asked me to write her a letter of recommendation. I had
    the pleasure of having Karen in my classes at Yosemite High School, and she also participated in our Running
    Club through Assets after school. She excelled in both.

    As a student, Karen was always responsible and dutiful. She is quiet but always got her assignments done,
    and takes pride in her work. She worked well with anyone and was always a positive influence in the
    classroom. In the Running Club, she was it's a leader. She was the most dedicated runner, and she always
    tried to improve.

    Karen is an outstanding student and young woman. I would gladly recommend her for any position she was
    striving to attain, and will always remember Karen not only for her hard work in the classroom and on the track​,
    but also for her kind soul and demeanor. I know that whatever dream she attempts, she will be successful.
