Engro Food:
• Engro Food limited was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Engro corporation in
2005.
• It starts its operation and become major player in food industry.
• It launches multiple product.
• Selling brands including Olper's Olper's Lite, Omore, Dairy Omung, Olper'sLassi and,
Tarang.
But whether it is our thick, creamy all-purpose milk, scrumptious ice-cream high on nutrition
content or refreshing range of beverages, our approach remains largely the same as we strive to

Starting of Business
Engro company was established in 2003, after
which in 2005 Engro decided to diversify their
business more by venturing into the food business
by establishing Engro Foods Limited.

Exports are an entry route through which we have stayed true to our vision. Over the past 10
months we have aggressively expanded our operations in the Gulf, ASEAN and African regions
and in such a short timespan we have cemented our place in countries such as Mozambique, Sri
Lanka, Singapore, Guinea, Libya, and the United Arab Emirates. However, this is just the
beginning; we are in process of making our presence felt further with robust distributors across
strategic regions.
At Engro Foods, quality is our promise. We source our milk from 4,000 Australian cows on our
very own dairy farm. Through careful control of every stage in the production process, we
ensure that all our dairy products are produced from the very finest quality of milk which
maintains consistency and the same great taste our consumers have come to love.

Abdul Sammad Dawood
Chairman:
Mr. Dawood is the Chief Executive Officer of Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited. He is the
Chairman of Engro Foods limited, He is also Director on the Boards of Dawood Corporation
Private Limited, Dawood Industries Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, Engro Fertilizers
Limited, DawoodLawrencepur Limited, TenagaGenerasi Limited, Reon, The Hub Power
Company Limited, Hub Power Holding Ltd and Patek Private limited. Mr. Dawood is also a
member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He joined the Engro Foods Board in 2012.

Isfandiyar Shaheen
Director
Isfandiyar Shaheen joined Dawood Hercules Group as Head of Growth Equity in June 2011.
Currently he serves as a Director and Investment Committee member on the boards of Engro
Corporation and Towershare Inc.
Prior to joining Dawood Hercules Group, Isfandiyar served as Head of Investment Banking for
Foundation Securities, where he co-managed the acquisition of British Petroleum's Pakistan
assets by United Energy Group.
Isfandiyar also serves on the advisory board of The Nest I/O (Pasha's tech incubator) and
Reading Room Project. He joined the Board in 2015.
Muhammed Amin
Director
A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of professional experience, Muhammad Amin joined
the Board of Directors of Engro Foods. Ltd. in 2005 and is presently overseeing the operations at
Cadbury Pakistan Limited as Managing Director. Prior to joining CadSbury Pakistan Limited, he
was associated with Gillette for 11 years in Pakistan and overseas. He last served Gillette as
Regional Business Director, Middle East & Africa for the shaving business.
Sabrina Dawood
Director
Sabrina graduated with a MSc with distinction in Medical Anthropology from University
College London, and a double honours B.A. in Anthropology and Law from London School of
Economics. She is the CEO of Dawood Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Dawood Group
and heads Dawood Public School, an O and A level trust school for over 1700 girls. She has
previously worked in setting up the CSR department in Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited
and has been involved with the designing and marketing for Lawrencepur. She joined the Board
in 2013.
Rehan Hassan
Director
Accomplished Telecoms Industry Executive turned entrepreneur with a proven ability to develop
and manage large scale, complex business enterprises across multiple countries. Previously led
the GCC organization for Ericsson and managed over two thousand people across thirteen
countries and managed over two thousand people across thirteen countries.
With a degree in General Engineering from the UK, executive education from Colombia and
over 20 years’ experience with some of the world’s leading mobile operators and technology
companies, recognized as a respected leader within the Telecoms industry in the Middle East and
Africa. Able to build highly motivated management teams focused on achieving and
demonstrating significant and sustainable growth.
Director
Zafaryab Ali Khan is an electrical engineer by qualification and has 20 plus years of professional
work experience, primarily in the electrical industry. He commenced his career in 1992 with
Avalon Computers and worked as a design engineer. Moving on to Gemstar Technology in 1994
where he was initially a technical member staff and later became a Senior Engineer in 2000. He
then became a partner at PrimeDTV Technologies where he was responsible for software
development in a transmission project. Zafaryab founded Sofizar in 2004 and by 2008 scaled it
up to a 10 Million plus revenue company. This company was recognized as one of the fastest
growth companies of Pakistan by Allworld.
Alongside his technical experience, Zafaryab has also served in key management roles. He has
been the Chairman at Zacky Farms(Pvt) Limited overlooking the growth of an organic dairy
farm at Burki. Furthermore, he was also instrumental in establishing Sofizar as a strong brand
name in the Search Engine Marketing space, and currently serves as the CEO of Sofizar Inc.
Furthermore, he also holds the position of CTO and President ConstellationCK Inc. Zafaryab got
his undergrad degree in B.S. Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology. He
joined the Engro Foods Board on April 27, 2015.
Marco Spits
Director
Marco Spits graduated from University Twente with an Msc. in Chemical Engineering &
Business Administration. He has also attended various courses from INSEAD and IMD. His
Marketing career started at P&G as a brand manager in 1977 and rose through the ranks to act as
a General Manager for Belgium & Luxemburg in Consumer Products group, over a span of 10
years.
He left P&G in 1986 and moved on to the “global top 5 dairy company” Royal
FrieslandCampina in 1986, serving the Company to date in various senior management positions.
He has excelled in international branded consumer products exhibiting strategic, marketing,
innovation and organizational skills. Most recently, Marco held the CEO position in RFC’s
majority owned Indonesian operation. He was also a member of both the Asian & Global RFC
Leadership teams. He joined the Engro Foods Board in 2015.

He is a Director on the Boards of Engro Corporation Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited, Engro
Eximp (Private) Limited, Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited, The Hub Power Company
Limited and Laraib Energy Limited in addition to being on the Board of Engro Foods Limited.
He is Chairman of the Board of Engro Polymer Trading (Private) Limited He has also served as
Chairman of the Board of Avanceon in the past.
Wim Torfs
Director
Wim Torfs has fifteen years of international management experience serving large corporations
as an advisor. He started his career working in Brussels – Belgium, as a consultant for
governments and private companies on liberalization issues.
The next 10 years, Wim worked at Mckinsey & Company where in 2009, he became a partner
based out of the Middle East office. In this role, he served
