PREFACE

Purpose of this Document -

The purpose of this document is to record and verify that a proper understanding of the business process requirements of MIL-DENIM. has been
communicated. The blueprint also finalizes the detailed scope of the project and is the main deliverable of the BBP phase.

Developing and Updating the Business Blueprint -


The Business Blueprint creation is during the Business Blueprint Phase. This deliverable is a central grouping of various disciplines. Blueprint
deliverable and strategies will be the fundamentals for development and management in the on-going phases of the project. After sign-off as been
obtained from the relevant parties involved, a copy of the Business Blueprint will be stored for reference only.

Document Availability
This document is readily available to all staff on the project through a read only access to the controlled environment or through a hard-copy. Please
note that the master copy held in electronic format is held under the document reference.

Document Sign-off
Business Blueprint Document will be submitted to process owners for final sign off. Process owners are requested to respond within three (3)
business days from the date of submission, after which a discussion on the changes required, if any, will be initiated. The document must be signed-
off within five (5) business days of submission to the process owner for the first time. In case of no response from the Process Owner within five (5)
business days, then the document will be deemed signed-off.

Introduction

MIL-Denim division of the Arvind Mafatlal Group started as a joint venture in 1996 with Burglington Mills Inc.USA. as Mafatlal
Burglington Industries Limited. Subsequently the Arvind Mafatlal Group bought Burglington’s equity in the JV & the company’s name
was changed to Mafatlal Denim Ltd. In May 2013, Mafatlal Denim Ltd has been amalgamated with Mafatlal Industries Limited, the
flagship company of Arvind Mafatlal Group which has the legacy of over 100 years in textile business.

1. SMI-SD03 - Processes

SMI-SD03-01: Domestic Sales Process:

1.1 Sales Order:

In this sale process sales order is agreement between a sales organization and a sold-to party about delivering products or providing a service for
defined prices, quantities and times. In the sales order, functions such as pricing and printouts are available. The system checks whether the
material is available for the requested delivery date and if necessary, transfers the requirements to materials planning. Shipping deadlines and
shipping Points are determined in delivery scheduling. At the time of creation of sales order.

Master Data required:


Customer Master, Material Master, Inco-terms, and Payment terms, Pricing.

1.2 Delivery:

When customers order items from a company, sales orders are created, and the outbound delivery document is generated to facilitate the picking
and ultimate goods issue of the items as they are delivered to the customer. The goods issue process triggers a number of events to take place in
the SAP system.

1.3 Invoice:

You can use the invoicing function Invoicing of SD Documents to process documents of the source document category SD created by the
component Sales and Distribution (SD) and that are to be posted or processed for invoicing during invoicing.
