3 Installation
3.1 RVI
The RVI must be installed on a bulkhead or surface, which can easily carry the weight (2,0Kg / 4
lbs) of the RVI. The RVI must be protected from rain and seawater and direct sunlight. Consult
“Appendix A Installation drawing for RVI” for details.
Warning: Do not install the RVI in a small compartment with insufficient ventilation

The video interface is compatible with the VGA/VESA family. Separate sync (5-way) and sync on
green (composite) are supported.
4 Configuration
The two video inputs on the RVI are configured the same way as the video inputs on the DPU/DAU
Consult “Installation Manual for DM200/DM300 S-VDR and DM400/DM500” for details
Important notice:
Disable VD 4 (inactivate) while VD 3 is being configured and calibrated
Disable VD 3 (inactivate) while VD 4 is being configured and calibrated
(Remember to activate the disabled channel after the last channel is configured and calibrated)
