Log for Monthly Check of Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers must be checked monthly. You should be checking that:


1) The needle on the guage should be in the green zone.
2) The pin should be intact.
3) The nozzle should be free from obstruction.
4) There should be no visible signs of damage to the extinguisher.

If you see a problem with the fire extingusiher, report it immediately to the Fire
Prevention Office at Ext 52071.
