Reflection and Refraction Questions

The document discusses refraction, optical dispersion, refractive index, and critical angle through a series of questions and diagrams: 1. It defines refractive index and asks about the path of red and blue light through a glass prism. Blue light has a higher refractive index in glass. 2. A graph shows how the speed of light varies with wavelength in glass, demonstrating optical dispersion. Blue light has a higher refractive index. 3. It illustrates the critical angle at the boundary between glass and air, and uses the critical angle and a refractive index of 1.5 to calculate the length of a light path in an optic fiber. 4. A diagram shows how the position of a spot of light changes
