Probability Tree Diagrams

1. Julie has a 0.2 probability of arriving late to the cinema, and Pat has a 0.6 probability. Their events are independent. The probability that they will both arrive late is 0.2 x 0.6 = 0.12. 2. Salika has a 0.3 probability of her train being late each day. The probability her train will be late on at least one of two days is 0.51. 3. Jacob picks sweets randomly from two bags. The probability he picks two green sweets is 3/21.
