Viscosity Tables
Viscosity is the measurement of internal friction of a fluid. Sir Isaac ISO-Viscosity Mid-point Limits of Kinematic

the correlation of shear stress and strain rate. The dynamic viscosity 40 °C mm2/s 40 °C mm2/s (cSt)

Labeling of greases according to DIN 51502
DIN 51502 regulates the uniform and unambiguous
labeling of lubricants and lubricating points. It is de-
signed to prevent damage from confusing lubricants.
It also refers to other DIN standards, which describe
and specify lubricants and their test methods in
detail.

The labeling regulations for lubricating greases ac-

cording to DIN 51502 define location of use, base oil
stock, additives, upper service temperature limits and
reaction with water.
