Pre-Nursery

August:

August is the month of settlement in the school for the toddlers. Students come for short span
of time starting from half an hour and the time increases gradually on weekly basis.

Activity:
Independence day celebration.
Take home props

Expected Learning Outcomes:


By the end of the month children will be to develop the attitudes, knowledge and skills to:
 Enjoy looking through books.
 Understand and follows instructions.
 Flag of Pakistan.
 Learn about colours.
 Enrichment of vocabulary through flash cards, vocabulary basket and take home props.

September:

English:
Pre-writing skills worksheets.
Exercise of Practical Life:
 Play dough
 Pulling and pushing of chair
 Threading beads
 Dusting the table
 Using of dustpan and mop
 Opening and closing of bottles
 Unfolding and folding mats
 Pegging

Sensorial exercises:
 Cylinder blocks.

 Will be able to recite duas.
 Respond to stories.
 Understands that pictures carry meaning.
 Recognize and read sounds in print.
 Identify sight words that are meaningful for them.
 Match one object with another based on similar attributes.
 Write and follow the dotted lines.

 Children will increase eye-hand coordination and the ability to handle tools and materials

November:
