Mrs. Mary M.

Mason
689 South Main Street
Swainsboro, GA 30401
April 24, 2019

Dear Mrs. Mason,

I am sending you this letter regarding the open position for a neuropsychologist position
at the Grady hospital. I very well believe that I have skills, qualities, and dedication for this
meticulous profession. I first heard of this opening through a friend who works as a business
technologist specialist in your hospital and imminently requested information regarding the
position. Growing up and especially during the end of my high school years, I have always been
incredibly intrigued by the functions and processes of the brain as well as how humans react to
various situations and exposures to different things. I decided this would be the perfect mix of
any job I could ever care for: something were I would need intelligence, critical-thinking skills,
patient-interaction, professionalism, as well as quick-response consultation. It would be more
than an honor to be chosen for this position—it is my great hope that you will consider me for
this job. I am a woman of high standards who will not give sloppy work. I believe that there are
only a few ways of doing things right, and I would love the opportunity to show to you in person
my capabilities on a day-to-day basis.
I have dedicated many hours towards community service, athletics, and clubs although I
have little to no experience in a paid-working environment. I understand this may alarm you, but
please understand that I am very capable to adapting and very open to change. In the hours I
have given to the listed sources, I have yet to produce unacceptable work, and this will benefit
me as a neuropsychologist because I intend to keep this record. I intend to take the classes and
begin my journey towards completing my PhD degree. A good neuropsychologist (as I see it)
would need to have the ability to produce quality work, organization, as well as the proper
education in order to be a sufficient worker, and I believe I have the right qualifications and
intentions to be the best candidate.
As shown in my enclosed resume, I feel that I am highly qualified for this position and
can only hope that you feel the same. This is a wonderful opportunity for me as a person who
loves neuropsychology and challenges as well as something an environment that would teach me
things I could not experience in a classroom. I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be
interviewed! If you have any question or concerns, please feel free to contact me on my personal
cell at (478-494-5044) or via email at mailto:[email protected]. I thank you, again,
for your consideration and time.

With many blessings,

Josie Drake
