RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Design

The researcher should use descriptive research Design for the

Investigation. The descriptive research design is aimed at the definition of the

competitive structured of a market/ segment, or the description of the behavior

of organizations or groups of consumers. According to Cassandra Mcneil (2018)

the purpose of descriptive research design is to describe, as well as explain,

or validate some sort of hypothesis or objective when it comes to specific group

of people.

Descriptive research is a methodology that is not exclusive to market

researchers but one that can apply to a variety of research methods used in

healthcare, psychology, and education. At its core, descriptive research seeks

to describe the characteristics or behavior of an audience. While it’s not

grounded in statistics, and usually leans towards more qualitative methods, it

can include quantifiable data as well.

Richey. Klein and Nelson (2016) said that a Developmental Research

which involves the production of knowledge with the ultimate aim of improving

the processes of instructional design, development, and evaluation. It is based

on either situation-specific problem solving or generalized inquiry procedures.

Developmental research, as opposed to simple instructional development, has

been defined as the systematic study of designing, developing and evaluating

instructional programs, processes, and products that must meet the criteria of

internal consistency and effectiveness.

Primary Source of Data

Interview. The Interview was the main tool used by this study in data

gathering. We visited Department of Agrarian Reform twice for the scheduled

interview. The first interview was on February 26, 2019 and the second was on

the 7th of March 2019. Structured or unstructured interview through open-

ended questions that was used in order to determine the different perceptions

of the participants. The Questions and Answers given by the respondents or

the participants is a great help in the construction of the study, although the

question made is not typically used in the questionnaires.

Documentary Analysis. The documentary analysis is the use of outside

sources, documents like requisition and issue slip, supply inventory form,

property acknowledgement receipt, property and equipment inventory form and

annual plan report to support the viewpoint or argument of an academic work.

The researcher was able to gather several forms and documents that use as a

basis for documentation, construction and development of the study.

Secondary Source of data

Books/Unpublished materials. The researcher uses also the

unpublished thesis and related materials as a reference of their study. The

unpublished thesis materials served as a guide for the researcher to finish the

documentation and to improve the propose system.

Internet. The researcher used the internet to gather other related

studies about their proposed system.
