Reflection on task 2
During my teaching practice in Alwaleed School for boys, I
noticed several routines that my mentor school teacher used in the classroom and I would like to apply them in the future with my students.
First of all, the booster board. On my first day, I did not
think the sticker was useful to fifth graders, but they were excited to get the most number of stickers, because they would get a gift at the end of the week for those who get more than one sticker, There are also certificates of appreciation in front of a large number of students in the school and this is why the student feels proud. So in the future, I will do this practice with my students to make them take part in the lesson and make them proud of themselves.
Secondly, I noticed a very beautiful way to collect
students and morning assembly or after the break time, which are papers containing the number of the class, the teacher to raise the paper high and students gather in front of her organizationally and also very fast and faster than the rest of the classrooms, This method teaches students the speed to attend the lesson and also teach them the organization, the teacher will avoid the delay of the lesson and will also reduce the conflict of students, in the future will help me this routine a lot to keep time and not delay the lesson. Last but not least, I noticed a useful way to take the students' attention into the lesson she uses the bell. The teacher rang the bell three times and the students quickly be attention. The teacher uses the bell at the end of the lesson and the students understand that the book must be closed and stand up behind the chair and bake the chair under the table quietly. Bell is always useful to take the attention of students in the future will use this style, but not only in the last lesson but also in the middle of the lesson because this method is very useful and more benefit with students boys because it is difficult to find a way to attract boys.
The reason for my decision to implement these practices
is that I noticed positive results in the classroom. These results influenced the children's learning well. Everyone understood and listened to the teacher and there were no issues.
