Return Mail Script

Call Script:

Hi, this is _____, a student at the University of South Alabama. I’m calling because we recently
received some return mail for your address. Can you provide me with your current mailing
address so I can confirm that what we have in our system is correct?

• If the address is the same, check to make sure nothing is missing (apartment or lot #, PO
Box instead of mailing address, etc.)
• If the address is not the same
o for prospect, inquiry, and application started, update address in the Recruiter
o for applicant, do address correction and encourage student to also contact our Office of
Admissions to update their information as well
o for admit, do address correction and encourage the student update their information in
PAWS accordingly
• If student is willing, ask them to confirm additional information (school, email, etc.)

Thank you for providing us with your updated information. Do you have any questions for me?

mailing address so you don’t miss any important updates from USA.

• For applicant: Also be sure to update your information with our Office of Admissions in
order to continue receiving admissions updates. You can reach them by phone at 251-
460-6141or by email at [email protected].
• For admit: Also be sure to update the information in PAWS accordingly.
