    Dear Mr. Matthews:

    I would like to take this time to thank you for reading my letter and considering me for a position as a Private
    Investigator. I am currently a senior at South Lyon High School, and this job position has really caught my
    attention. I believe that from this job I will gain a lot of knowledge about the field, which could be very useful
    as time goes on. My hopes are to also benefit the team as well by helping them grow.

    I am hardworking, persistent, and trustworthy. I work very well with others and am always open to new ideas,
    therefore will always try my best to incorporate those ideas into the mix so that everyone feels like part of the
    team. With this job position, I am hoping to expand my mind and become a better version of myself overall. A
    placement like this will allow me to build my independence as well as my ability to investigate tougher
    situations.

    I have worked in the restaurant business for the past few years now, which has really helped me open up by
    giving me the opportunity to be around people all day and learning about many different human behaviors. I
    also took a psychology course in high school, which I believe has allowed me to become a lot more
    knowledgeable of the functions of the brain and how people handle different situations.

    I hope to continue my desire as a private investigator outside of the classroom, and into a more advanced
    atmosphere such as a workplace where I can further my interests. I would appreciate the opportunity for an
