Delta – Export results

Portable mode

All the results of analysis done are automatically saved on the Innov-X Delta XRF analyser.
To access these results in excel, please follow these instructions.

1. Tap on Home 2. Tap on Results

5. To customize the export tap on the tools 6. Tap on the item in the left hand side
list and then tap the right arrow to
send an item to the export list. Tap
on an item in right hand side list
and then tap the left arrow to take
this item off the export list.

Select the separator as “Comma”

Tap “Set Chemistry” to select which


elements should be in the export document.

7. Tap on the element in the left hand side 8. Tap “OK”

12. After the results have been exported 13. On the bottom of the screen in blue
writing will be the file name of the export

To open the results document that you have exported.

1. Ensure that the Delta is connected and communicating (via Microsoft Activesync or Windows Mobile
Device Centre) to your computer, Go to My Computer\Delta\My Documents\InnovX\Data\Export\ and
open the .csv file with excel

2. If necessary, in excel convert the format from text to columns

3. Select the column A

4. Then tap on the “Text to columns” option under the “Data” menu
5. Follow the on screen steps, choosing:
a. Select the delimiters as Tab and Comma, tap “Next”
b. Select “finish”
