Unit Geometry/Circles
Learning Using what I learned in the presentation on the board and the document
Objectives camera, I will be able to correctly distinguish different parts of a circle
(diameter, circumference, arc, etc.)
Through the activity done in a group as well as the notes at the end of the
class, I will be able to discover the relationship between diameter and
circumference.

Assessment The assessment will be formative during this lesson, I will be formatively
assessing the students’ process in the discovering pi activity. The activity
contains measuring as well as algebra which is the unit that the students
have just finished.
Extensions If students finish the pi activity early, they can keep measuring different
items since there are a lot of different items to measure.
If students finish the pages in the package early, they can move on to the
other pages.
Additional 02 group: Students to stay after class for being late last class; Jeremy S.,
Notes Bobby, Shun-Anthony, Fay, Austin, Audrey & Caleb.
