and acquire knowledge about processing of starch powder with its derivatives from raw
material of maize and also produce by-product of maize.
This training would not have been possible without the permission of MR. PARIMAL
JANA, the Personnel Manager of ‘SUKHJIT STARCH INDUSTRIES’ at
NARAYANPUR in MALDA. He helped in providing a free atmosphere to work in the
plant.
I deeply express my thanks to DR. SANTOSH KUKER who is the head of department of
FET, CIT at kokrajhar for his entire support to perform this training.
It is my privilege to express my sincere regards to my entire training guide Mr. VINAY
SINGH, the Quality Control Manager for his valuable input, guidance, encouragement and
wholehearted cooperation throughout the total training programme.
I would like to thank MR.SANJAY SHARMA, the Senior lab chemist, Mr.Bibhitu kumar,
the lab chemist, Mr. Santosh kumer, the lab chemist, Mr.Ranjit jha , the chemist, Mr. Monojit
kumer, the lab chemist. All respected sir who helped me in performing various analytical
tests to measure the quality of finish good products and also provided an overview of the
plant which helped me to make this report.
Last but not least I would like to thanks all the workers of this industry for helping me in the
completion of my work.
