Online Grocery Management System

Abstract
The purpose of Grocery Shop Management System is to automate the existing manual system by the
help of computerized equipments and full-Aledged computer software, fulfilling their requirements, so
that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer period with easy accessing and
manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily available and easy to work
with .

Online Grocery Management System, as described above, can lead to error free, secure, reliable and
fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate on their other activities rather to
concentrate on the record keeping. Thus it will help organization in better utilization of resources. The
organization can maintain computerized records without redundant entries. That means that one need
not be distracted by information that is not relevant, while being able to reach the information. The aim
is to automate its existing manual system by the help of computerized equipments and full-fledged
computer software, fulfilling their requirements, so that their valuable data/information can be stored
for a longer period with easy accessing and manipulation of the same. Basically the project describes
how to manage for good performance and better services for the clients

Problem statement: -
It is very difficult for the retailer to manage large number of
customers at a time. We try to implement a system that can provide systematic information
about the goods available in that online grocery delivery & management system .Providing a
proper details of goods and items. Customer can browse through the product catalogue and add
the item to shopping cart. For performing the above mentioned task the Customer will have to
register to the system and log in.

Introduction: -
This project online grocery delivery & management system is developed
on PHP and MYSQL. The main aim of this project is to manage all the details about product,
customer etc. there are two types of users available in the project first one is customer and
second one is admin.

Proposed solution: -
• Provides the searching facilities based on various factors. Such as Customer Product
Company, Product Type, Supplier.

• Grocery Shop Management System also manage the Stock details online for Product
Type details, Supplier details, Customer.
• It tracks all the information of Product, Stock, Product Type etc.

• Manage the information of Product.

• Shows the information and description of the Customer, Product Company.

• To increase efficiency of managing the Customer, Product.

• It deals with monitoring the information and transactions of Product Type.

• Manage the information of Customer.

• Editing, adding and updating of Records is improved which results in proper resource
management of Customer data.

• Manage the information of Product Type.

• Integration of all records of Supplier. .
