production.

Connexions is a product by FIS that enables Banks and Financial institutes to communicate easily amongst each
other for payment orders and remittances - Connecting various file formats and payments processing via
Mainframes. Clients e.g. BOFA

 Understanding, analyzing and evaluating the Client Requirements for Connexions System.

 A typical work request here will generally consist of screen changes, respective online program and report
changes, batch changes corresponding to the online change. Or change in DB2 or some process in batch
system.

Key Highlights:
 Started the Connexions offshore team in 2015 after Knowledge Transfer sessions from client over
conferencing and delivered first delivery by 2015 end within estimated timelines.
 Delivered BOFA regulatory change within very tight deadlines single handedly as other senior resource
was on leave. It was very well appreciated by client and became a milestone delivery for the Connexions
offshore team attracting more work for the team. Was awarded SOQ award from Management for this.
 XML project to HSBC was another milestone delivered recently and currently being beta tested. That
project enabled Connexion system to accept XML as input/output format other that EDI. The project was
a pilot project to the introduction of Connexions to XML world and was very highly appreciated.

Responsibilities:
 Worked in Quotes Part of team in insurance domain. The system is responsible for generating Insurance-
Quote.
 Role was to implement RDR regulatory changes to Mainframe Quotes system and afterwards Asset and
Revaluation Accounting changes to the Asset Management system.
 Feasibility Analysis on implementing RDR (Retail Distribution Review) changes to Quote (Mainframe)
system.
 Required all phases of software development life cycle. Requirement Gathering, Feasibility, Design, Built,
Unit test, Integration test, System Test for both the changes.

Key Highlights:
 The role also involved onsite travel to Scotland and stay for 6 months in which primary role was to
Analyze, Estimate design a new change to Asset and Revaluation Accounting. As well as acting as onshore
coordinator enabling smooth communication between 35 member existing offshore and client team.
 RDR was rolled out in 3 phases and Asset Management change in 2 phases with successful UATs and least
user defects.
 Was awarded Accenture OSCAR award during this phase in Accenture.
