Principle - The IC 7408 represents the AND gate consisting of 4 AND gates, while IC 7432 is
used to for the OR gate consisting of 4 OR gates, the AND gate are represented using transistor
configuration as stated below, the OR gate can also be represented in the same manner using
transistors.

Working - The working of the tester relies on using the transistor configuration of the AND and
OR gate, and matching the output of the IC with that of the output provided by the transistors, for
example to check the working of a given AND IC we give the same set of inputs as the IC to our
tester and if the output of the IC matches with that of the tester for all the input combinations the
IC works properly, and is verified, similarly the OR gate can also be verified.
