Guidelines
(BCA Final Semester)
Students are required to bring their power point slides (in .ppt
format) for Pre-defense presentation (with consultation of their
respective supervisors) based on the following tables of
contents:
1. Title, Student Name, Enrollment Number, Supervisor name
(1 slide)
2. Objective (1 slide)
3. Problem Statement (1 slide)
4. Context Flow Diagram (1 slide)
5. Level 1 DFD (1 slide)
6. Entity Relationship diagram (1-2 slides)
7. Conclusion (1-2 slides)
8. Bibliography (1-2 slides)
Note: A variation in the above contents is accepted on the
recommendations of the supervisors only.

(BCA Final Semester)
The presentation shall be prepared with consultation of their respective
supervisors and shall be based on the following tables of contents:
1. Title, Student Name, Enrollment Number, Supervisor name
2. Objective
3. Introduction
4. Problem Statement
5. Context Flow Diagram
6. Level 1 DFD
7. Entity Relationship diagram
8. Snapshots
9. Conclusion
10. Limitations and Future Scope
11. Bibliography
Students are requested to use plain/simple slides without any animation
and effects. The font of presentation shall be uniform Times New
Roman with font size 20/22. Use font size 28 for Headings.

Students are required to prepare their Dissertation/Major Project report (with
consultation of their respective supervisors) based on the following tables of
contents:
I. Certificate issued by the Department Office.
II. Declaration by the Students signed by him/her, with date.
III. Acknowledgements signed by him/her, with date.
IV. List of Abbreviations
V. List of Tables with table caption and page number
VI. List of Figures with figure caption and page number

Auxiliary Format
The report shall be hard cover bound in leather or rexin with Dark Maroon
colour for BCA and shall be printed on white bond paper. All lettering of the
front cover shall be embossed in silver (Two copies; one for office and one for
student).
The size of the paper shall be standard A4. The printed sheets shall 1 inch
writing area and margins from all sides.
The standard font shall be Times New Roman of 12 pts with 1.5 line spacing.
Each chapter shall begin on a fresh page with an additional top margin of about
5cm.
The chapter heading shall be Bold Times New Roman of 14 pts. Sections and
sub-sections shall be Bold Times New Roman of 12 pts.
Sections and sub-sections can be numbered using decimal points.
All pages shall have a bottom middle page number.
Table and figures shall be numbered chapter –wise with the relevant caption.
Note:
1. No source code shall be included in document.
2. Bring PPT and Working demonstrating on the day of evaluation/viva-
voce.
3. A variation in the above contents is accepted on the recommendations of
the supervisor, only.
