Steps to hire new person

1. Navigator > Workforce management > New Person

2. New person page will be landed as below

3. Provide the person details as below.


a. Hire Date: 1/1/13
b. Hire Action : Hire
c. Legal Employer : G01 Sun Life US General account
d. Worker Type : Employeee
e. Last name : USER<Count>
f. First Name : DL
4. Click next to navigate to Person Information.
5. In person information > provide country as United States and click Next to navigate to
Employement information.
6. Employment Information > Provide the below details
a. Business Unit : BU G01 Sun Life US General account
b. Assignment Status : Active – Payroll Eligible
c. Manager: MGR01,DL
d. Under Expense Information
i. Default Expense Account : G01-1000-275301-00000-00-00-000-0-0-000

7. Click Next to navigate to Roles.


8. No need to provide any details in roles section. Click next to review the details provided.
9. Click on save and submit.
10. Now you have successfully hired a person.

Validate the Hired user

1. Navigate to person management.


2. Provide the person number and click search.
3. You must see the person in the result grid.
Steps to Reset password.
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintainance.
2. GOTO “Create Implementation Users” task.

3. It will open a new page – oracle Identity manager


4. Click on the Administration link.

5. Select the corresponding user in the left panel.

7. Click on the reset password.

8. Select the “Manually change the password” option and uncheck the “Email the new
password” checkbox

10. Click on Reset password button.


11. Now you have successfully reset the password.

Assigning Roles

12. Navigate to Setup and Maintainance.


13. GOTO “Create Implementation Users” task.

14. It will open a new page – oracle Identity manager


15. Click on the Administration link.

16. Select the corresponding user in the left panel.

18. Click on Roles tab.

20. Click on the Assign button.


21. Search and select the role and click on add button.

22. Now you have successfully assigned the role to the user.
Below are the list of roles that need to be assigned to users.

 %Common Primary Ledger
 %STAT
 %TAX
 Application Administrator
 Procurement Manager
 Procurement Application Administrator
 Procurement Catalog Adminstrator
 Procurement Integration Specialist
 Transactional Business Intelligence Worker
 Business Intelligence Applications worker

 Supplier Administrator
