 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is on Computer based “A Study of Software Test Automation using

selenium, Geometrix Automation, Pune” which has been carried out for Matrix School
Of Management Studies Pune, as one of the subject of MBA course.

At Geomatrix, initially I was imparted process and service knowledge. I was given
sufficient time to know about the services and what company doing the fundamental
task of any hypertext crawler (regardless of whether for the Web, an intranet or then
again other hypertext report gathering) is as per the following. The crawler starts with
at least one URLs that constitute a seed set. It picks a URL from this seed set, at that
point gets the website page at that URL. The brought page is at that point parsed, to
extricate both the content and the connections from the page (every one of which
focuses to another URL). The extricated content is nourished to a content indexer. The
extricated joins (URLs) are then added to a Robotics, which consistently comprises of
URLs whose relating pages have however to be gotten by the crawler. At first, the URL
outskirts contains the seed set; as pages are gotten, the comparing URLs are erased from
the URL wilderness.
 Need for the System: This gives detail information of the System in use & why
the New System is needed.
 Proposed System: This gives detail information of the characteristics of the
Proposed System.
 Software Data Flow Diagram: Will enable to track the flow of the processes
carried out by the system and interaction of different users therein.
 Software Specification: It gives details of the software used with brief,
description of each software.
 File Design: In this all the data elements used in the system are described in
details in a tabular form.
 Fact Finding Techniques & Feasibility Study: This gives detail information
of the ways of information gathering about the system. Feasibility study carried
out for the proposed system.
 Suggestions: Suggestions for the enhancement will focus on the modification,
alterations scope to develop the system in future
