The objective of the Verification Plan is to set out how the project will assure the functionality of the
Safety Critical Elements and compliance with the defined equipment performance standards. As such
the Technical Integrity Verifcation Plan (TIV Plan) is one of the key supporting documents in the
application of the Asset Integrity Process Safety Management (AI-PSM) Standard. The establishment of
Technical Integrity through the project phase sets the criteria and assures the baseline ready for the
Operate Phase maintenance of Integrity. The project will deliver the technical Integrity and set the
parameter for ongoing assurance by the development of the Operate Phase Performance Standards
based on the Global Performance Standard Templates in compliance with the SCE Management
Manual.
