Chemtex E-Glass Chopped Strand Mat Powder is an e-glass chopped strand mat designed for hand lay-up contact molding with good wet-out in resin, multi-resin compatibility, tensile strength and flexibility. It is most widely used in filament winding, compression molding and continuous laminating to manufacture panels, boats, automotive parts and more. The powder is available in several area weight grades between 200-450g/m2 with 2-8% binder content and packaged in plastic bags wrapped in sleeves for storage between -10C to 40C for up to 12 months.

Characteristics
Chemtex E-Glass Chopped Strand Mat Powder is the chopped strand mat that is specially designed
for hand lay-up contact molding, and it has the below excellent performance:

Applications
The products are most widely used in filamend winding, compression molding and continuous
laminating processes to manufacture various panels, boats, bathroom equipment, automotive parts,
cooling towers, etc.

Packing and Storage


Each roll is packed in a plastic bag and is wrapped up in a sleeve. Chemtex E-Glass CSM Powder
should be stored in closed containers at temperature between -10C and 40C for no more than 12
months, and protected from frost and direct sunlight.
