SETUP EMAIL ON ANDROID PHONE

Add a New Email Account

1. Open the Email app and navigate to the Settings section.


2. Tap Add account.
3. Tap Personal (IMAP/POP) and then Next.
4. Enter your full email address and tap Next.
5. Choose the type of email account you will be using.
o POP3 will download the emails from the server and store them on your
phone.
6. Enter the password for your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Server Settings

1. Username: Enter your full email address


2. Password: Enter the password for your email account
3. Server: This is your domain name preceded by "mail." like mail.ibronx.com.my
4. Port and Security Type:
o If you're using POP3, choose:
 Secure - Port: 995 and Security Type: SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
5. Once the settings are entered, tap Next.

Outgoing Server Settings

1. Select Require Sign-In.


2. Username: Enter your full email address
3. Password: Enter the password for your email account
4. Server: This is your domain name preceded by "mail." like mail.example.com.
5. For SMTP Port and Security Type, choose either:
o Secure - Port: 587 and Security Type: SSL/TLS (Accept all
certificates)
6. Once the settings are entered, tap Next.
Account Options

1. Email Checking Frequency: Set how often you would like your device to check for
new emails.
Note: The more regularly your device checks for new emails the more it drains your
battery.
2. Notify me when email arrives: Leave this checked if you would like to be notified of
new emails.
3. Sync email from this account: Leave this checked if you want email to be checked
automatically.
4. Tap Next.
SETUP EMAIL ON APPLE/IOS IPHONE
1. Select Settings from the home screen of your iPhone:

2. Choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars and click Add Account:

3. Choose Other from the list that appears:

4. Select Add Mail Account. In the New Account menu, you will need to specify the
following records:

 Name – your name (will appear as sender name) e.g:Mohd Amin | iBronx MY
 Address – your full email address, e.g: [email protected]
 Password – the password for this email address
 Description – lets you specify any description (we suggest you use your email
address)

Click Next.

5. Select protocol type: POP3. Your selection will be highlighted blue.

6. Settings are the same for POP3:

 Name, Address and Description: should have been already filled in


 Host name: mail.ibronx.com.my
 User Name: your email address
 Password: password for your email

In the fields for both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server, indicate the
following settings:

Click Next.

Click Save and wait while the system completes necessary checks.

8. When the checks are finished, you'll be redirected to the Mail, Contacts,
Calendars screen. Choose your newly created account there:

9. Scroll down and select Advanced:

10. Here you can choose additional settings for POP3.

Choose POP3, you need to use port 995 (with SSL) :


11. In order to set up additional settings for outgoing server, you will need to return in
the previous menu and then go to Outgoing Mail Server by clicking on the host
name of the server:

12. For Outgoing Server (SMTP), select port 587 (with SSL):

Once the settings are verified, your account is active and ready to use.
To test your new email account, go to Messages and try sending and receiving
emails.
