    At the end of the lesson, pupils are expected to:
    1. Identify the four major tastes.
    2. Give Examples of Sense of Taste.
    3. Tell how to take care of our tongue.

    40- Week Curriculum for Kindergarten

    C. Materials: visual aids, pictures, different foods, Television


    D. Science Concept: The tongue helps us to taste the food whether it is sweet,
    sour,salty or bitter.
    E. Value Focus: Caring for our tongue.

    III. Procedure:

    A. Preparatory Activities:
    Good morning Everyone! Good morning too Ma’am!
    How are you today? We’re good!
    I’m glad that everyone is fine.
    Now let’s stand up for the prayer. (The pupils stand and recite the prayer.)

    Okay, everybody sit down now.


    Who are absent this morning? No one is absent Ma’am.
    Very Good! No one is absent today.

    Who amongst you loves to sing? (The pupils will raise their hands.)
    Loves to dance?
    Everybody stand up and let’s sing and (The pupils will stand up.)
