1 Downloading the software.
✔ Download new S/W on-line (www.samsung.com/support/download) – Connect to www.samsung.com and press the button at the top right to move to the website for the corresponding country.
– The name of the USB folder name may differ depending on the model.
✔ How to prepare the USB Memory Drive 1. Save the firmware file from ‘Samsung.com’ onto your computer. 2. Connect the USB Memory Drive to the USB port of your PC. Copy the file onto the USB Memory Drive. 3. Go to the USB Memory Drive and then double click the file. 4. Press the ‘Install’ button. 5. Unzipping is in progress and the program will close automatically when the installation is complete.
6. A folder containing the firmware files has been added to the USB memory drive. 7. Safely disconnect the USB memory drive by right clicking the green check mark on the taskbar and then left click ‘Safely Remove’. Caution!! The USB device should have only one folder.

9. The TV will display fig 4 (Software Upgrade). Software Upgrade
10. The TV is now checking the USB stick for Software. Scanning for USB..... It may take up to 30 seconds.

Software Upgrade 13. The TV will display fig 6 (Software Upgrade) showing the upgrade status/progress. Upgrading now. Please do not disconnect USB before upgrade is completed. 14. The TV is now upgrading. DO NOT DISCONNET THE POWER OR USB AT ANY TIME DURING THIS PROCESS.

Power will turn off in 3 seconds N In the unlikely event that the upgrade is unsuccessful, and turn on again automatically. power off the TV, disconnect the power from the mains electricity and then re-connect and power on the TV, repeating steps 5 ~ 15.
