GUJARAT STATE JUDICIAL ACADEMY

ACTVITIES DONE BY THE JUDICIAL ACADEMY IN THE YEAR 2017

The Gujarat State Judicial Academy has been established in the year 1995.
Initially, the Academy was established to impart the Induction Training to the newly
recruited Civil Judges and Additional District Judges; In-Service Training for each
cadre of judicial officer working in the State; induction Training to the Deputy
Section Officer of the High Court; in-service Training Programme for the Section
Officer of the High Court; in-service Training Programme of the Registrar,
Additional Registrar, Nazir, Deputy Registrar, personal Secretary to the District
Judge, Secretary of the DLSA. Academy also conducts Legal Workshops/Seminars
at the district Level, for the Judicial Officers of the State.

The Academy has started to give training besides judges, to the ministerial staff
and officers of the High Court, Administrative Staff of the District Judiciary and
other stakeholders like Deputy Mamlatdar / Mamlatdar and Executive Magistrate,
Public Prosecutors and DGP, Additional Public Prosecutors and AGP, Assistant
Public Prosecutors, Jail Staff, Police Officers, etc. The Academy also prepares
syllabus for the training of the Subordinate Ministerial Staff, Bailiff, etc. it also
conducts computer Training Programme for the staff of the District judiciary, High
Court as well as Judicial officers of the State.
