    REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING IATA APPLICANT

    PROPRIETORSHIP

    1. Completed Application Form


    2. Valid Travel Agency License issued by Department of Tourist Services two years old.
    3. National Tax Number (NTN) Certificate
    4. Owner’s 2 photographs and NIC copies.
    5. One manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry within
    the previous 3 years.
    6. A minimum of one full time qualified travel staff(s) working in a travel agency with the following
    qualification(s):
    a) any GDS course
    b) Member Airline’s certification in Basic or Advanced Fares & Ticketing.
    7. Latest Certified and Audited Balance Sheet
    8. Photographs of premises: exterior with clear signboard / interior of the Travel Agency location.
    9. 15 blank agency letter-heads
    10. Payment of USD 1680/+ 5% to IATA is acceptable either by bank transfer or through credit card.
    11. IATA/IATAN ID Card application for Two Staff Members USD 30 for each
    12. Minimum investment of PKR 5.00 Million. Minimum bank guarantee or insurance bond of PKR
    10.00 Million
    13. Guarantee insurance premium Rs-250,000

    BALANCE SHEET REQUIREMENT


    1. NIC COPY (Proprietor, )
    2. Company Letter Head
    3. Copy of DTS Licence or any bank guarantee provided to DTS
    4. Rent/Lease Agreement
    .
