COMPLAINT LETTER
April 9, 2019
To
The General Manager,
Dhanbad Telecom District,
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd,
Dhanbad.
Dear Sir,
I would like to point out a billing error in my May and July telephone bills.
According to the May bill (see copy attached), I had to pay an arrear of Rs.4391/- for
January and March bills. As these bills were already paid in April 2014, I pointed out
the error to the Accounts officer (TR), Dhanbad, and he assured me that the error
would be corrected.
However, in my September bill (copy attached), the same arrear has appeared
again. Moreover, my telephone number 2203821 has been disconnected because
your computer claims that I have not paid the telephone bills for more than three
months.
Please correct this error and instruct the concerned department to reconnect
my telephone without any reconnection charge. I have enclosed the receipts for all the
bills paid by me since April 2014. I appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Expt no: 3 Interview Skills
Date:
Smart Work: It is that work which is done on the basis of prevailing conditions.
E.g. when you have time you may go for a length and tedious path, but in case of
lack of time, you have to find some shortcut to fulfill your task, omitting the weak
portions of your work.
8. Are you a team player and do you work well with others?
I enjoy motivating people by praising them for their achievements and I
accept others` opinions if even if they differ from mine and I enjoy other people
company and I enjoy discussions with others. I think that team work increases
efficiency at work.
The Basics:
∙ Preparing for the interview
∙ At the interview
∙ Find out about the position and the organization. Use this information to think
about how your skills and background would be suitable for the job. Practice
talking about your work experience: What you did, what you were responsible for
and what you accomplished in each.
∙ Think about what questions you expect to be asked and how you would answer
them
∙ To give a great interview, you need to know the answers to three critical
question:
3.Think about challenges you have faced and how you have dealt with
them;
At the Interview:
∙ Arrive a few minutes early.
∙ Make a good impression with a smile, a firm handshake, good eye contact,
in a friendly, enthusiastic, confident manner.
∙ Take your time to give a good, concise answer to the question that was
asked.
∙ Don’t linger. Say thank you, restate your interest in working with them, and
leave.
∙ Send a “thank you” letter to the interviewer(s) thanking them for their time
and reminding them that you are still interested in the job. Do this within a
day or two of the interview and be sure that you spell the interested in the
job. Do this within a day or two of the interview and be sure that you spell
the interviewer’s name correctly!
∙ If you don’t get the job, consider calling the interviewer for some feedback
about the interview: Did I seem adequately prepared? Was there
something that I did not demonstrate? How could I do better in a future
interview?
∙ Don’t get discouraged! Interviews are about both parties finding the right
fit for the job. Doing better interviews is something that can be developed
through preparation and practice.
INTERVIEW BEHAVIOUR
Job interviews can be nerve-racking. You have one shot to convince a potential
employer that they should hire you instead of dozens (and maybe hundreds) of other
qualified candidates. In this tough job market, a man has to be on top of his game
during interviews if he wants a chance to land the job.
A few months ago, I interviewed for a job I had been hoping to get since I was a
student in law school. I got through the first round of interviews fine. It was the kind
of straightforward and traditional interview that most of us have probably
experienced. I was asked questions about my strengths, my weaknesses, and why I
wanted to work for this particular company. Basically, they were the kind of questions
you can prepare for and have some go-to answers you can use with confidence.
I got the call-back and scheduled an interview with a company executive. Before I flew
out to my interview, a friend of mine who knew this person tipped me off on the
executive’s interview style. The executive liked to use behavioral interviewing to weed
out candidates for positions. I had never heard of this interview style before, so I set
out to research as much as I could about it, aiming to be as prepared as possible.
∙ “What are your strengths?” Typical banal answer: “I’m a team player who’s
passionate about engaging with people to realize the mission statement of the
organization.”
∙ “What are your weaknesses?” Typical banal answer: “Oh, I guess my biggest
weakness is that I’m just so darn hard working. I never know when to quit. Oh,
and I’m really hard on myself. I’m a perfectionist.” Basically, the candidate
makes a lame effort to turn a “weakness” into strength.
∙ “What’s your passion?” Typical banal answer: “I’m passionate about whatever
the company I’m interviewing for does for business. I hear you guys make
fertilizer. Did I tell you about my dog poop collection in my backyard? It’s
amazing!”
∙ “How would you handle a co-worker who is bothering you?” Typical banal
answer: “The truth is I would probably leave passive-aggressive notes on his
desk, but you don’t want to hear that, so I’ll just tell you what you want to hear. I
would seek to understand and then to be understood. I would kill them with
kindness. And if worse comes to worse, I’d take the problem to HR.”
∙ Or simply: “Tell me about yourself.” Typical banal answer: “Here’s my 2 minute
elevator pitch that makes me look really awesome but in no way reveals to you
whether I really have the skills to excel at this job.”
These types of questions are pretty easy to answer. You just have to give the
interviewer a vague reply filled with the right buzz words. These answers don’t reveal
if the candidate really has the skill set needed to succeed in the job because they
don’t require a candidate to give specific examples from their past when they
demonstrated said skills. What these types of questions usually reveal is that a job
candidate is good at telling a boss what they want to hear.
Introduction:
Technology has played a big role in developing the agricultural industry. Today it
is possible to grow crops in a desert by use of agricultural biotechnology. With this
technology, plants have been engineered to survive in drought conditions.
Through genetic engineering scientists have managed to introduce traits into
existing genes with a goal of making crops resistant to droughts and pests.
Technology in agriculture:
Lets take a good example. A bacterium known as ”Bacillus Thuringiensis” acts like a
reservoir , it enables crops to be insect-resistant , so these genetically modified crops
will grow without any interference from pests. The invention of this technology is
being used in developing countries to grow cash crops like cotton, since this
genetically engineered cotton plants are pest resistant, they grow better than the
normal cotton plants hence yielding good results.
Modern transportation:
This helps in making products available on markets in time from the farm. With
modern transportation, consumers in Dubai will consume a fresh carrots from Africa
with in the same day that carrot lives the garden in Africa. Modern transportation
technology facilities help farmers easily transport fertilizers or other farm products to
their farms, and it also speeds the supply of agricultural products from farms to the
markets where consumers get them on a daily basis.
Cooling facilities:
These are used buy farmers to deliver tomatoes and other perishable crops to keep
them fresh as they transport them to the market. These cooling facilities are installed
in food transportation trucks, so crops like tomatoes will stay fresh upon delivery.
This is a win-win situation for both the consumers of these agricultural products and
the farmers. How? the consumers gets these products while still fresh and the farmer
will sell all their products because the demand will be high.
Irrigation of plants:
In dry areas like deserts, farmers have embraced technology to irrigate their crops. A
good example is in Egypt, were farmers use water pumps to collect water from river
Nile to their crops. Most of these farmers grow rice which needs a lot of water, so they
manage to grow this rice using irrigation methods enhanced by advanced technology.
Advanced water sprinklers are being used to irrigate big farms and this helps the
crops get enough water which is essential in their growth. Some farmers mix nutrients
in this water, so also improves on the growth of these crops.
Conclusion:
Agriculture is an integral part of smart growth. The ability to feed one’s own
population is critical to the independence of any state. Ontario is blessed with
resources that have facilitated the development of a worldclass agricultural industry
that provides safe, nutritious, and reliable food.
Technical presentation
Expt no: Bluetooth technology
Date:
Introduction:
Bluetooth is a wireless technology used to transfer data between different electronic
devices. The distance of data transmission is small in comparison to other modes of
wireless communication. This technology eradicates the use of cords, cables,
adapters and permits the electronic devices to communicate wirelessly among each
other.
· Robustness
Classification:
Various types of Bluetooth technology are available in the markets which help the
consumers to communicate wirelessly. The different types of Bluetooth devices are
PC cards, radios, dongles, and headsets. Laptops and other Internet enabled
equipments use Bluetooth technology such as wireless mouse and keyboard to
communicate wirelessly. Music players like iPods, music phones, or other MP3
players make use of stereo headphones.
Applications:
The first and foremost application of Bluetooth technology would be to eradicate the
tangling of cables that would mess up the room.
1. It is difficult to send emails while travelling in a flight. On landing of the flight, the
Bluetooth enabled laptop can send the email only when it gets in touch with the user’s
phone.
3. One will be alerted on his/her mobile phone when your laptop receives the mail.
4. You can try to locate a printer via laptop. You will get the printout of that document
once that printer is located.
Working:
Bluetooth technology was discovered to have wireless protocols to connect several
electronic devices and as a solution to synchronize the data. The Bluetooth standard
is maintained by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. At the physical layer, the
Bluetooth RF transceiver is positioned. At around 79 Bluetooth channels are placed
with a space of 1MHz. Transmission of data and voice are achievable at short
distances and thereby creating Wireless PANs.A Bluetooth device is comprised of an
adapter. A Bluetooth adapter can be available in the form of a card to connect the
device or integrated into an electronic device.Link Management Protocol (LMP) is
responsible for peer – to – peer message exchange when the electronic devices
interfere in each other’s radio range. This layer creates the link and negotiation of
packet size. If required this layer can perform the segmentation and reassembling of
the packets. The Bluetooth device enabled by the Service delivery protocol joins the
piconet and enquires with all the services available. A piconet has a star topology with
one master and seven slaves. The concept of Master and Slave is used in the
Bluetooth technology. Only after the master takes the initial action, the devices can
begin to talk. Bluetooth GloballD is exchanged among the electronic devices and a
connection is build up after the profiles are matched. Get in-depth of Bluetooth
Protocol Stack here.
Conclusion:
Bluetooth Technology takes away the need for several problematic cable
attachments for connecting cellular phones, handheld devices, and computers. It is
easy, convienient simple, and inexpensive.

FOR THE ENGINEERING ASPIRANTS AND FOR THE ENQUIRERS FOR HIGHER
EDUCATION IN ABROAD WILL AVAIL TOEFL EDUCATION:
Internet-based Test
Since its introduction in late 2005, the TOEFL iBT format has progressively
replaced both the computer-based tests (CBT) and paper-based tests (PBT),
although paper-based testing is still used in select areas. The TOEFL iBT test
has been introduced in phases, with the United States, Canada, France,
Germany, and Italy in 2005 and the rest of the world in 2006, with test centers
added regularly. The CBT was discontinued in September 2006 and these
scores are no longer valid.
Although initially, the demand for test seats was higher than availability, and
candidates had to wait for months, it is now possible to take the test within one
to four weeks in most countries.[4] The four-hour test consists of four sections,
each measuring one of the basic language skills (while some tasks require
integrating multiple skills) and all tasks focus on language used in an academic,
higher-education environment. Note-taking is allowed during the TOEFL iBT test.
The test cannot be taken more than once a week.
1. Reading
The Reading section consists of 4–6 passages, each approximately 700 words
in length and questions about the passages. The passages are on academic
topics; they are the kind of material that might be found in an undergraduate
university textbook. Passages require understanding of rhetorical functions
such as cause-effect, compare-contrast and argumentation. Students answer
questions about main ideas, details, inferences, essential information, sentence
insertion, vocabulary, rhetorical purpose and overall ideas. New types of
questions in the TOEFL IBT test
require filling out tables or completing summaries. Prior knowledge of the
subject under discussion is not necessary to come to the correct answer.
2. Listening
The Listening section consists of six passages 3–5 minutes in length and
questions about the passages. These passages include two student
conversations and four academic lectures or discussions. A conversation
involves two speakers, a student and either a professor or a campus service
provider. A lecture is a self-contained portion of an academic lecture, which
may involve student participation and does not assume specialized
background knowledge in the subject area. Each conversation and lecture
stimulus is heard only once. Test-takers may take notes while they listen and
they may refer to their notes when they answer the questions. Each
conversation is associated with five questions and each lecture with six. The
questions are meant to measure the ability to understand main ideas,
important details, implications, relationships between ideas, organization of
information, speaker purpose and speaker attitude.
3. Speaking
The Speaking section consists of six tasks: two independent tasks and four
integrated tasks. In the two independent tasks, test-takers answer opinion
questions on familiar topics. They are evaluated on their ability to speak
spontaneously and convey their ideas clearly and coherently. In two of the
integrated tasks, test-takers read a short passage, listen to an academic
course lecture or a conversation about campus life and answer a question
by combining appropriate information from the text and the talk. In the two
remaining integrated tasks, test-takers listen to an academic course lecture
or a conversation about campus life and then respond to a question about
what they heard. In the integrated tasks, test-takers are evaluated on their
ability to appropriately synthesize and effectively convey information from
the reading and listening material. Test-takers may take notes as they read
and listen and may use their notes to help prepare their responses.
Test-takers are given a short preparation time before they have to begin
speaking. The responses are digitally recorded, sent to ETS’s Online Scoring
Network (OSN) and evaluated by three to six raters.
4. Writing
