SV Test Port Kit
SV Test Port Kit
SV Test Port Kit
General
Test port to be fitted between a control valve and a selector valve for
testing the opening pressure of the selector valve and the leak tightness
of the control line.
The kit features a check valve that is only open when the test equipment
is fitted, hence eliminating potential human errors.

Installation
Place the SV Test Port kit where access to the test port is convenient to
make service easy.
Preferably the kit should be placed close to the control valve, so as to
permit positive identification of the relationship between each control
valve and its selector valve(s).
Tube from the control valve is routed to one of the compression fittings.
From the other compression fitting, tubing is routed to the selector
valve(s).
Only stainless steel Ø6 mm tubes may be used.
Tubes must be cut with a tube cutter. Tube cutter is ONLY to be used
for stainless steel. The tubes must be deburred inside and outside.
The tube must be inserted so that it rests firmly on the shoulder of the
fitting and make sure that the nut is finger-tight.
Hold the fitting body steady with a backup wrench and tighten the nut
1-1/4 turn.
Operating
The line has to be pressurised using the Tool kit Test port, item no. 305187. See Tool kit data sheet for
instructions.
Maintenance
No serviceable parts, if leakage is detected the parts should be replaced.
Routine testing
Leakage test every 5 years by applying leak-seeking fluid to the device while pressurized (up to 50
bubbles/minute is acceptable on the test port connection).
