Instructions
1. Deadline:
2. All the questions are mandatory. Choose either one question from optional problems.
3. Drawing having proper representations, neat and clean will attract more marks
4. The Question-wise marks is indicated along with the problems inside the bracket.
5. This assignment is not eligible for re-attempt, i.e. perform well in first attempt within
deadline.

ASSIGNMENT 01: LINES, LETTERING, AND DIMENSIONING

Problem 1. Write freehand, in single-stroke (i) Vertical capital letters (ii) Vertical lower-
case letters (iii) Inclined Capital letters (iv) Inclined lower case letters of 20 mm height.

Problem 2. Draw the Figure as shown below. Identify the LINE TYPES and also write
down the description of the LINE TYPE in the Drawing Sheet. (3)

Problem 3. The orthographic views of the objects are drawn according to the First-
angle projection method to 1:1 scale size and shown in Figure 2. Insert Dimensions.
