PROJECT TITLE : TWO(2) - STOREY SUPERMARKET

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM :


A Businesswoman Ms.Dianna Olegario Wanted to open a business by establishing A Light Commercial 2-Storey Supermarket
located at the Heart of the City of Caragao. For that, she commissioned Arch.Romulo Dumaguit to start A good planning and
design, from concept to final construction plan.

PROJECT SITE FEATURES :


Inside Lot with an area of 100m frontage by 5,000sq.m. The RROW is at western part with A 32.00m in width. Across the
RROW is a series of commercial establishments, at both sides of the lot is A single storey restaurants, and at the back
is another supermarket. The site is 5% sloping toward east, but it has been filled-up and compacted.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS :
1. Ms.Olegario ordered A 4m setbacks for both sides and rear, and 7m setback at the frontage.
2. Use Turf Block as pavement for Parking Areas.
3. She wanted that the entire length of site frontage be used for parking areas except A 5.00 meters wide for public entrance
at the very center of lot frontage.
4. From the Outer Surface of the front of the building, there will be 2.00m wide paved walk-way for costumers' access and is
adjacent to parking areas.
