What is Module All About?

Hello dear Student ! Another day for new knowledge  Could you
type as fast as someone speaks, or keep track of the many noisy
interjections and interruptions of court and parliamentary proceedings?
Machine shorthand does precisely that when it records and transcribes
the words spoken in courts of law and parliaments using shorthand
(handwritten or a stenotype shorthand machine) and audio equipment.
This module will be a new experience for you. I hope you will find this
module interesting!

What are expected for you to learn?

In this module you are expected to:

1. elaborate the New Letters, Consonant Compound, Abbreviation, Word

Endings;
2. discuss further the sound pattern of each words;
3. identify abbreviations from derivatives;
4. apply the new keys in keyboard practice;
5. demonstrate the proper striking of the new keys
 How to Learn From this Module

Remember the words and their equivalent keys, You

may find it difficult in the first try but as we go along, it will be easy for
you to memorize them.

To check and stretch your mind for awhile, there are activities and
self-check exercises after each lesson. Try to answer those questions
without looking at the answer key.

using the machine shorthand.
