Hello Vectorians,

I am P Sai Chandu, v14he6/p10. I recently got placed in global edge


company.First of all I would like to thank sameer sir, shashank sir, varalakshmi
madam from teaching side and subramanyam sir, sudheer sir, harika madam from non-
teaching side and all LC's for their support.

Here I would like to share my interview experience.

It consist of 5 rounds.

1.written test(descriptive)

2.written test(objective)

3.technical

4.managerial round

5.HR

ROUND 1:

consist of 2 sections C(5 questions) and UNIX(5 questions)

C: All questions are inter-related like define a structure to store IP address


and a string to store the name of IP, w.a.p to store above defined structure in a
file, w.a.p to seperate IP and name and store in different files, in a LAN how many
users are active(is user active).

UNIX: Some questions I remember are Difference between process and thread, how
can we communicate to a process running in another system. and some other simple
questions

ROUND 2:

Actually this should be 1st round for global edge, but for our batch due to
unavailibility of crew it became second round.

simple C and apti questions which vectorians can easily answer.

ROUND 3:

It lasted for 40 mins. here they concentrated more on my vector project, C, C+


+.some are storage classes in C.difference between structure and union.disadvantage
of union.memory organisation of RAM.what is initialised and uninitialised data
section.

In C++,what is macro and function,why we are going for in-line functions,what


is virtual, a sample program in c++

single question from tcp/ip.what is tcp and udp.where do u use tcp and udp.

After 3 rounds they shortlisted me for domain training in company.

thats it friends.

never lose hope. believe in vector. practice well.all the best
