Software User Manual

Chapter 1 Introduction on laser engraving and cutting system

1.1 Laser engraving and cutting system realized its effect control to

the CNC laser machine by Computer, finish the processing according

to different requirement of Users. The system contains system mother

board and control panel, and compatible software. This instructions

is introducing how to finish the laser processing with software.

1.2 Software compatible formats

Vector format: cdr, dxf(splin and other curves), plt, tif and so on.

Bitmap format: bmp, jpg, gif, png, ect.

1.3 Requirement about the operation involvement

1/Windows 2000, windows XP, Win7

2/ Hard ware:With CD driver (Install software need this)

Chapter 2 Software installation

1/ Engraving software installation

First of all, plug in the orange color dongle key, as F3-1showing:

Then open the CD, install CORELDRAW software first,

, if you already installed coreldraw software in


your computer, please ignore this step(We recommend X3/X4

version). Open , double click

, you will see a dialogue box like following:


Click “Install Program” you will see:

After Click”OK”, software will be installed

automatically.
After click”next step”, ”next step”, ”next step”, following dialogue

box will come:


After Click “Install”

Click”Finish”, you will

see
Click”OK”, software was installed.

Then you will see this icon on the desktop of your computer.
2 . Coreldraw design

According to User’s requirement, design the needed file in Coreldraw,

it is not content of this instructions, so if user don’t know how to use

Coreldraw, pls google some trainning videos on line.

Chapter 3 Engrave/cut output

On the left up corner of Coreldraw, you will see the engraving order

tool , function introduction as following:

these two are engraving function, if you want to engrave, pls

click any of the two, if want to cut, pls slect the cut button: . If
want to change engraver settings, please click . Note: Before
machine leave our factory, our staff already set the correct

parameters and save in the CD. After you get the machine, normally

no need change the parameters. When the engraver is working , this

button will become red colour, if want engraver stop work, pls

click this red .

Now we take following engraving as an example:

After made the nice design in Coreldraw, click button , following

dialogue box will come out

If design is like this pls select“selected”from the

list of following dialogue

then click “OK”, then you will see

At this time, you can change the engraving speed according to

different engraving materials, then click”engrave”, machine will get

the order begin to engrave. Cutting function and engravng function

is similar, pls refer to engraving function setttings.

Chapter 4 Location
Now our model all have been installed reddot sensor light, customers

can put materials according to the reddot sensor: Make sure left up

corner concide with reddot point.

If want to adjust the location point, pls click the up, down, left, right

in engraving manager to control laser head engraving place.

Normally, location setting was set on the right up corner, you also can

change location by move the graphic in the right part of the engraver

manager, like the following photo show:

Move this graphic, the engraver will move


accordingly, according to your need, set the location point, save the

parameters. (Note: To make a mark on

the engraving machine platform that coordinate point, later direct

"Extract Parameters" button.)

Chapter 5 FAQ

1/ Problem: Power is not reset, carve, misplaced.

Reason: Not grounding wire or ground wire is not connected.

Solution: take a good ground as required.


2/ Question: engraving depth uneven.

Cause: The water system did not work, the light path is not

adjusted.

Solution: Shutdown wait for l hour, restart the water flow out of the

outlet pipe until the water cycle,then start dimming.

3/ Problem: No power voltage.

Cause: The machine has a ring on the right fuse.

Solution: Replace the spare fuse.

4/ Question: engraving depth is too shallow.

Cause: The laser beam is not in the center position of the lens or

lens is dirty.

Solution: adjusting the laser light path, cleaning lenses.

5/ issue: lettering blurred.

The reason: the focal length of the lens is placed upside or wrong.

Solution: put the lens being adjusted to a predetermined focal

length.

6/ Question: machine discharge ignition.

Cause: Wiring a bad contact or too moist air terminal dusty.

Solution: take a good ground, clean up the dust, dry and ventilated.
