First off - thanks for your purchase of

Sketch’it! Let’s take a walk through the

process of using Sketch’it.

Step 1 - Open the Photoshop file

Locate one of the .psd files within the folder (1 - Psds), and open the
one of you choice. The first thing you will need to do is double click
on the first layers icon (colour coded Green).

This will open a new .psb file - it is here that you add the text or
vector graphic that you want to apply the Sketch’it effect to. Note:
the text or design should be a solid colour and not semi-transparent.

Close this file - and agree to save the changes - you should then see
a dialog box indicating that the smart objects are updating - that’s
normal - as that allows the effect to ‘take place’ and update all the
relevant files.

Step 2 - Change the colour if needed

You should now see your text or graphic with the Sketch’it effect
applied.

If you would like to change the colour of each effect you will see the
first layer within each effect folder is a ‘photo filter’ layer which
allows you to pick the colour of your choice and reduce the opacity
if needed. Just choose the colour you want and close the dialog box
and all the elements within that effect will be updated with the
colour of your choice.

Step 3 - Choose an effect & background of

your choice
There are 9 different styles - 5 of them are chalk like in appearance
and 4 sketch like.
Hide/activate the layers as you go and see how each pattern applies
a slightly different effect.

You can edit/tweak the various filter effects if you like to see how
they change the overall effect.

The background contains 3 different files - a dark black chalkboard,

a colour background (of which you can customise the colour) and a
white paper like background.
