 Turn on the ignition switch(do not

start the engine) and check the
following screens are shown.

 If there is a problem it will be

shown on the screen.

 Turn the ignition switch fully

clockwise to start the engine the
siren will sound and the beacon
will flash for 7 seconds.

 Switch on tracking mode by

pushing button 2 this will allow
access to the sub menu.

Either of the buttons can be used

for tracking the unit, select button 2
for radio remote tracking.

indication, allows you to see how
strong the signal is.

 Turn the transmitter to the on “I”

and wait for the green light to
flash on the handset as shown
below.

 Allow the green light to flash

consistently for a few seconds.

 Switch on the radio receiver by
pushing button 2 as shown on the
screen.

 This will highlight the ariel symbol

on the screen.

 Activate the the radio transmitter

by pushing the green button as
shown opposite.

 The siren will sound and the

beacon will flash.

 It will take 7 seconds before the

radio transmitter is ready for use.

 Machine is now ready to be moved using the joysticks, slowly push the
joysticks in the direction the machine needs to travel.

 The engine rpm can be adjusted by using the up and down keys on the
main control panel.

 When wing plates are folded up

use the props and secure with
safety pins.

 Use a suitable platform for this

procedure.

Wedge

 When wing plates are in working

position fit the wedges to the front
door two on each side.

 Observe all safety precautions.

allow the conveyor to be
folded/unfolded for working and A B
transport.

extend and retract the conveyor

 Auxiliary control valve for raise

and lower main conveyor from
working/transport.
Main conveyor
 This can also be controlled from
remote hand set only in auxiliary
mode.

 “A” will operate raise/ lower main

conveyor.

 “B” will tension and untension the

crusher pulley belts.

 “C” can be used for extracting and

re-fitting the main conveyor.

3 Service log & fault log

Logging and viewing
service history, viewing
fault log.
Pushing button 3 will gain
access to the service log.

Fault message on the screen

must be cleared by pressing the
ok button, if not the fault will
reappear and another entry is
recorded in the log.

 Service log will log the last 25 faults reported to the machine and the
operator is able to scroll through the fault logs by using the up/down
buttons.

this menu.

 This enters a new screen as

shown below.

 Use up/down buttons to adjust the

settings.

 Push a button 1-7 to select a

parameter to be adjusted.

 Adjust parameter using up/down

buttons.

 Push setting button again to exit

adjustment mode.

 To enter Engine diagnostics mode

select button 5 on the main menu.

 This enters a new screen for

engine imformation:

 engine speed in rpm

 oil pressure
 engine load
 fuel temp
 boost pressure
 coolant temp
 coolant level

 Select manual run by pressing button 1, this will allow certain functions
to start operation in turn, the screen above will appear. However they can
only be started in the following sequence 1, main conveyor 2, crusher , 3
feeder. The side conveyor can be started at any point during this
sequence.

 Feeder adjustment
 This option will work in run condition and also in manual and auto
modes.

Turn the transmitter Press the green button

to the on”I” position. on the transmitter and
activate the reciever. Move the toggle switch
in the centre of the
transmitter to the left to
turn the feeder off and
on as required.

 Auto run mode

 Select by pressing button 2 on the menu, selecting this will allow the soft
wear to operate the machine.
 Press button 2 this will start each function automatically as follows:
 Sound the siren for 7 seconds before starting the main conveyor
 Ramping the crusher and engine up to full speed
 When the crusher reaches it preset speed the feeder and pre screen are
activated.
 Check feeder speed option before operation-if it is set at 0% the feeder
wil not run.
